Austrian Rotax suspends supplies of engines used in Turkish Bayraktar drones

The Austrian Rotax company has suspended the supplies of engines that are used on the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 combat drones

“The Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles are used for targeted killings not only in the fight against the PKK and its ally Syrian militants, but also in the Karabakh conflict,”

till now Rotax didn’t feel responsible for the use of its engines because these devices are originally produced for light and ultralight aircraft and were sold to buyers also through international agencies.

Turkey was supplied with these engines through Italy.

Major protests took place both in Canada and Austria when it became known that technology produced in Canada and Austria is being used in the Turkish drones that are currently used by Azerbaijan to bomb Armenians in Artsakh.

Presidential candidate and PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan remarked in a TV program: “Some called me a Georgian. Others called me even, excuse me, an Armenian in a shameful way. I am a Turk!”

Migrate to that thread

No

Lmao

is turkish nationalism largely civic in nature? say some bosniaks or albos who went to turkey in the early 20th century - are they turkish?

yes it is largely civic in nature. Bosnians and Albanians are considered Tvrkish

this thread doesnt have previous >>

Go to Iraqi user thread its better. This thread still new. Let it die.
Go there:

Its purely civic.

Attached: 1603895875547.png (720x590, 198.5K)

turkish nationalism is civic yes, since there is no specific "anatolian turk" ethnicity. its by constitution that, if you are a citizen of republic of turkey, then you are considered turk.

ottoman empire force migrated quite a lot of turkic/anatolian turkish tribes to balkans in order to solidify its roots over there. bosniaks and albos that migrated back to turkey were mostly descendents of turks that were forcibly migrated by ottoman empire. back in late 1800s when ottomans started to lose balkan lands, most turks were either killed or forced to migrate back to ottoman lands. there is even a specific word for them, "Muhacir".
