You didn’t watch the segment. He said it wasn’t USPS, rather a large company that is normally reliable. Said that the company did a comprehensive investigation and interviewed every employee that could have touched it and search every facility it went through. Basically on air said it’s gone and no hope of it appearing because the box was still there but someone removed the docs on purpose.
I was surprised that someone could have such important info, never think of scanning it, and ship off the sole copy - but apparently he didn’t. If these docs are really delivering the goods, he pulled a masterful move to get the MSM covering the story.

The company executives have been personally updating the Fox News producers on the investigation, and said they have found no evidence of how this could have possibly happened.
You don't get that level of attention from the executives of a major company unless they consider it a high priority, and in this case it's probably CYA for FedEx or UPS.
And whoever stole the documents knew exactly how to do it and leave zero evidence behind. They had no value beside the information printed on them, so the only people who would steal them are interested parties. And that's a very limited number of suspects.
