Ethiopians are only 50-30% Caucasian. It is highest in the Tigray region, which is the one currently being targeted and in chaos.

To be fair, no they don't. Genetically speaking, Africa is incredibly diverse and have completely dissimilar populations. Khoisan, for example, are completely divergant from the rest of Africa and even had a different classification under the Apartheid system in South Africa.

Tigrays used to be the former elites of Ethiopia until the Oromo Abiy Ahmed was elected. He purged the Tigrays from Ethiopia's elite leading to the current situation. Abiy Ahmed has a lot in common with Obama (coming from an underdog group, initially quite popular, won the nobel peace prize). The Tigrays got not allies, except for covert support coming from Eritrea. They are rebelling mainly on their own. Egypt and Sudan could become allied to the Tigray as they have geopolitical interests in a fragmented Ethiopia (nile dam).

A recent scientific study based on certain genetic and chemical factors to do with empathy and other emotions actually shows Africans (not sure what populations/subgroups, I believe subsaharan/mostly west african) actually display the most empathy and emotional/emotive depth based on empirical values. This was at it's peak when dealing with children and their own family. East asians had the least empathy and Europeans/whites were the most balanced somewhere in the middle.
Who knows how much that data actually reflects real life, but it seems plausible. This issue is that the way feelings of empathy and other emotions is not simply a matter of chemical or genetic factors, but there's also individual, societal and cultural implications like language and how it is expressed or dealt with. Many indigenous african languages have very limited lexicon and thus poor ways of communicating complex thought and emotion, so a lack of expression and internal/spiritual turmoil may be greater in black populations generally speaking. Or may manifest itself as unruly behaviour when they are not in their own cultural surroundings. People have also theorised this is why peoples with simple languages and lifestyles tend to be more adept with things like rhythmic contours of music as it is a linguistic concept their limited languages cannot express. It's possible the high or varying levels of neurotransmitters could potentially give one group stronger and more uncontrolled emotions as well. For example west african males and females tend to have higher levels of oestrogen, which may contribute to greater unchecked emotions and outbursts, but can increase muscle mass, longevity, depression/wellbeing and skin quality.
Euros being the most balanced, and combined with higher IQ could explain their artistic/societal success. Able to make hard choices, but still have enough empathy to only kill and do hard things when absolutely necessary.
