I joked with a friend about this a few years ago. In a multi planetary world scenario or what ever you wanna call it you will totally end up with hell worlds that e.g. are just large mining planets. Life and planets ultimately become completely expandable. We dreamed of planets filled with mining dwarfs which have been exclusively made in test tubes for the purpose of labor.

The only issue is while you can build a wall, you can't make the biters pay for it (without mods).

Nah m8. Satisfactory has too much tedium when building big but not enough complex/circular production chains to make building small that interesting. It's got 3D and a nice island to explore going for it though.
