A lot of these accounts are fake. I came across a lot of “recruiter at google” women on linkedin who have no connections.

The hardest part about applying to jobs isn't getting past HR, it's getting your application to an actual human once you check the box for "non-Hispanic White" and "male" and "Not disabled", because after you do that, 99.9% of the time, the algorithm for whatever hiring website you're using dumps your application in the trash

I got hired at the company I work at when I was 19, 27 now. I've gotten two of my friends a job there as well by recommending them to the bosses, and I'm looking at getting a third hired there as well.

In my experience recruiters want two types of people .They want diversity hires or they want 3.9 GPA autistic savants who spend every waking moment of every day thinking about engineering and coding, spending every weekend doing hackathons and competitions and groups.
