I have a monolithic folder too, from saving them faster than sorting them. Basically you need to assess what you have large amounts of. If you see a lot of pepes, create a pepe folder and move them all into it. etc
When big happenings happen, it's good to just make the folder "notre dame", "chaz", "corona" ahead of time and dump straight into it so you don't have to sort later.

You could try something like this. I basically have 3 divisions. Within the conspiracy folder there is a folder structure for things like "Pizzagate" or "Voter Fraud". What you see here is derogatory information about various classes of degenerates. Then there is a third structure of "reaction" images sorted by emotion and/or topic.
Also just delete the trash images you will never use. Whittle it down to just the best.
