TLOU 1 did incredibly well, and was largely enjoyed by the average person who played it. This leads into higher sales for the sequel regardless of the sequels quality. It also seems like a pretty blatant time for the scene to change as the camera is blocked for no other reason, and they need to reposition them for the ground breaking moment, so it makes sense.

Unless she throws her a good several feet past ALL of that, AROUND the wall to an area we don't see (extremely unlikely with animation shown, but possible), then what is behind that wall has changed. It isn't wide enough, from what we saw before, to hold both a jeep and that statue.
Unless you've mistaken the pillar for a wall, and think she was thrown that direction, which looks different yet again.
