In the first game she is homeless and poor, makes a home for herself in a large sewer pipe, and decorates it with furniture scavenged from around town. Some NPCs will remark that she could use a bath. In GR2, she spends early game living in a bird coop with a bunch of ducks, and spent pre-game working as a miner with a heavy, stuffy suit.
