I've been saying it's generic trash since day one.

I like the suit. It's unique to the game.
But I agree that while I enjoyed the game, it is overrated. Adding Mary Jane and Miles as playable characters who don't really do anything wasn't a good choice.

It's a Sony exclusive so its great.

They're pointless.
Every Mary Jane section, Spidey shows up at the end to resolve whatever conflict she sets up.
I can't really remember Miles sections.

My only problems with it were the Miles bits, the Sinister Six being fought in pairs because they fucked up making four of them exclusive to the third act, and never getting to punch Sable. Otherwise solid game, easy 9/10.

The main problem was how unbelievably repetitive the side-missions were. I don't know why it got such a free pass with that and must assume it was because most other aspects were quite good.
