Does Zig Forums have experience with scalpers?

I went to a retro game store once, and they were selling copies of the PS1 Final Fantasies for $60. It seems neckbeards and game stores always overprice RPGs and Nintendo games.

>pirate game
>never have to deal with scalpers

This. I like collecting, but fuck paying 80 bucks for DQ5 on DS.

Pokemon White isn't even rare though

Yes, but I generally opt not to purchase their offerings.
I saw Warsong at a local shop for $300 or so though. Didn't buy it, just wondered why it was so expensive.
This is true, you can find it used for $20. HGSS is probably the priciest one. Last time I checked a copy with the walker and original packaging (opened) was $140.

Yes, living in Canada their reserves are fucking everywhere

And the mobile port is perfectly fine

>authentic cause it came from gamestop

I work at gamestop and I've sold fake DS and GBA games to other gamestops and I've taken in fake ones cause the dudes were white. Never taken any in from darkies, though, and always posted their description on our internal internet.

This isn't even scalping retard

>play shit garbage emulation

>"playing the game"

lol

Just import, you can get copies of rare games from Japan in mint for less than a scalper selling just the disc

DS games can run on a toaster at 1080p with AA on.

that HG walker bundle is going for $200 now. video game prices in general have gone way up due to stimulus and boredom.

Since I'm a hardware Chad I simply burn the game to a disc or I put it on an SDcard or hard drive and use the original console to play them

FF7 black label is easily over $60

LOL

I scalp stuff occasionally.
Would anyone like a GCC in this trying time?

>wiiU
she lost all her money

>play shit garbage emulation
"Hurr durr the game is ony emulated 99.9% accurately, my autism prevent me from enjoy this"
Get fucked nigger

Reee I just want to play ocarina of time on an n64 to relive my youth but it would cost like a billion dollars.

Yeah in about two weeks i'm going to placing an order for parts for a new PC. Literally everything is being scalped right now due to low product numbers from the wuflu. I want my fucking NZXT H1 but no way in hell am I paying $600 for it.

Buy a flash cart and play all the N64 games.

>internal internet
I believe it's called intranet

Is it? Huh.
I have it just like that but I never really got into it. Don't feel like selling it though.

>Wii U

oh boy those are probably sitting in storage right now

It's been like a month since I've went in cause of the wuflu, we called it some abbreviation. I never gave a shit about the job but I can tell you that we take in fake games all the time that you can get off alibaba. That's where I got mine.

Copyright in the age of tech needs an update. It moves to fast. And the attitude toward emulation needs to lighten up.

Some of those Saturn and PS1 games are decaying. I have tons of games, but they won't last forever. I give up on collecting, the prices are retarded and emulation is getting damn good.

black labels in good condition can command that price on the open market you homeless digital consumer

I'm not even sure if it's scalpers at this point or if we are spiraling into hyperinflation.

Game collector here since 2014. I bought all the expensive games first and now everything feels like a trifle with pocket change.

He’s clearly got multiple copies of a limited product that he’s reselling for double what he paid. It’s not a prime example but it’s definitely scalping

I bought a black label complete for $20 at my local mega replay last year
