not as gay as your dads cock in my hands

More flexibility, more mods, more efficient code that requires less power.
Search sm64 pc reshade on youtube. There's already quick and dirty shaders

But cuckexplain snitch so the mods may not happen also someone need to male a tool to mod it . If it is not user friendly people will stick with the n64 version

go away nigger

This is 100x better. you dont make a tool for it, are you illiterate? This is its own port, you are not held back by emulators having to emulate software. even if people snitch, they cant take it away once its already on the internet, ROMS still exist and theyve been around longer

Emulation requires mimicking the hardware's behavior, with a port you don't have to do this = more efficient.
He's being way more Zig Forums than you. Maybe YOU should go away.

Watch Simpleflips play any modern rom hack.
Imagine now that without limits that N64 has.

the thing about mario games is that the newest ones are always better than the older ones.

just play odyssee

i had that controller and the joystick broke after 3 days heavy use.. not mario party but star fox 64...

The difference is an emulator tries to interpret the N64 instructions and tell the PC what they mean, and the x86 port is literally Mario 64 running on a PC as if Nintendo made it for PC originally.

Anyone have the link

The same reason why the TF2 source code leak is a big deal to me; almost completely unrestricted mods

>retarded poster
>uses 3rd party n64 controller

No one is going to stick with the n64 emulated version are you insane

Nintendo 64 controller is the worst thing ever to be released by a console manufacturer.

t. never held it
it's comfy as fuck user.

How do I play this with a Gamecube controller and adapter

You bite your nails or something?
Learn to use a clipper or get a fucking manicure

You need something that'll convert it to xinput.

seethe

When I played Goldeneye 64 multiplayer on it, I thought it was impossible for fps shooters to be played on consoles.
I changed my mind when I played Quake 2 on the playstation. From that moment dual shock would be my favorite controller until the release of the no scope 360 controller.
Even the gamecube controller has it's uses, but this abomination doesn't.

WIDER

is that donglover in the corner there?

Kek. I think I made that thing in Oblivion once.

Can it run on 2000 era PC?

you are too close minded user, imagine that you can do and add whatever the fuck you want to mario 64 BUT, you are heldback by the console/emulator limitations, since this is a port that doesnt need any emulator to run, you can do whatever you want whit it, mod tools, online gaming, porting to other consoles that otherwise would take years to run the game on a emulator specialized only for that console and still would run like shit the sky is the limit now user.
