Because you can't do these kind of maneuvers on console. Best you can have is doom eternal where your character snaps to predefined points like ledges, climbable walls and such.

Games are art now and for everyone.
Shitty games like quake and mario are for kids.

Only way for devs to balance mobility is to turn it into a "skill" or "item" like in Overwatch or Fortnite

I've never played whatever this game is but it seems it's a single maneuver set up by throwing two grenades. The movement doesn't seem involved or interesting.
Meanwhile in the quake webm he's aircontrolling, something that wouldn't be possible with the limited console controller, and precisely shooting rockets with quick 180degree snaps.
How is this similar at all?

There wasn't a maneuver in that video that required a quick 180. Not exactly the same thing but I see what you mean, having to do a 180 doesn't matter to me since there aren't that many multiplayer FPS with high mobility to begin with. Still, Titanfall 2 was 4 years ago and the only similar game is Titanfall. I guess you could count AW and BO3 but those are just Titanfall with invisible barriers everywhere and no mini mechs.
