I look up porn before beating the game, have gotten spoiled a bunch of times like this, but on the other hand, jacking it to what I'm into makes a special bond with the game.

fucking hell. i only died a tenth of that on my first playthroughs on regular and expert combined.

I had to cheat through some PoP SoT areas (the one with the ropes and the elevator) because I couldn't figure out how to not fall down in the first one, and I couldn't git gud for the second

I rarely have games unmuted, most of my playthrough (even for first playthroughs) is with some sort of youtube video on in the background 9 times out of 10 it's a playlist of internet historian videos
I use walkthroughs for jrpgs even if I know exactly where I'm going, and for first runs
I KOTR'd sephiroth on my first (and only) run, and have no idea how it feels to beat him legitly.
