>12 hours in >cant get past asleep >play it slow, check every corner, always careful with my 1911 >sleepwalking >stand up and shout "FUCK YES" >take a smoke as my reward >come back >C9 Hi-point looking at me >the fucking NIGGER of guns i have no reaction image for this feel look at it, look at that piece of shit
Also, can anyone here club music lightly playing in the background when outside? It's only when I get near the edges of the map but I swear its there.
i fucking hate the hipoint, its so ugly and the sights are ass. >does it hold the simplistic aesthetics bro watch the fucking trailer, the game looks a lot better, but it doesn't look a lot like the old game, the layouts are still there, but the graphics are still way different.
>but the graphics are still way different. A bit sad. That's what i liked so much about the original game, the pure lack of textures beyond simple colors and simplified aesthethic.
Adam Rivera
uhhhhh, honestly the map gets boring just like the first one i dont think they're too different desu, the second one adds a lot more to the lore with some secret game mechanics like the suicide tapes uhhhh... i guess graphically its very different but the core gameplay is still the same oh its much harder though, or maybe i just suck lol i didn't have cash for a while, but i got it as soon as i had the money actually, i have money rn, if ya add me on steam i'll buy it for you
i think machines work well, the game feels like a survival horror, moving enemies would make this so much harder
Michael Jenkins
zombies would make a good enemy type though, i would play the fuck outta that game
Joseph Lewis
I don't care, it would have been intense as hell if you were exchanging fire with other actual men with guns, dealing with the weapon mechanics, while the other NPCs frantically struggle with the weapons themselves. With the machines a lot of the tension is diminished in my mind. I want to stumble into another unsuspecting character in the dark, both parties freak out and have to pull their pieces and try to get a good enough shot off for an incapacitation or a kill.
that would make the whole holstering safely mechanic more intense, i gotta agree with you though, dealing with moving enemies would be way more intense, especially if they have guns too well, lets hope there's a receiver 3...
Anthony Richardson
Yeah, I'd really like to see this series develop further. Fuckin' Receiver gunplay with Blood Trail gore would be the ultimate game. Fuckin' load a shotgun and blow a giant hole into some faggot's face and see him fuckin' choking from it on the floor, until you fire another god damn shot into his head while he's agonizing lmao.
>get SAA >oh cool this was the gun that ocelot loves right >cylinder doesn't swing out >have to half cock it to remove and reload one round at a time
why the fuck does he even like it so much, goddamn freak
Noah Flores
too bad this game isn't about that... if only the devs were as blood hungry as us unloading both barrels into a motherfuckers chest would be so satisfying
Lincoln Jones
I think what you really want is a multiplayer game with reciever mechanics, user.
There was one, with rifles in a desert enviroment, called "D.U.S.T.", however game was abandoned and pulled from steam. VR kinda took the need for this kind of gameplay away, thankfuly, since nobody knows if not, how many games would try to recreate reciever.
Blake Gomez
There's nothing like the feeling of slamming a long silver bullet into a well greased chamber. Once you get into the rhythm of it, its amazing, it can kill anything that moves with its 6 bullet capacity, making it the greatest handgun of all time.
Caleb Smith
It's exhilarating.
Benjamin Cox
The SAA was a reliable gun and powerful for its time. its ANCIENT in the revolver design even by the time of the civil war. >single action >cylinder is locked inside the gun >can only reload 1 bullet at the time, so no speedloaders >only 1 port that you can use to reload means likely powder residue IDK why kojima decided to go with the SAA but any other revolver would have been better in use.
Jace Ramirez
Hopefully there will be good mods for the game, i hear the devs fully support people modding the game.
Does the glock 17 really have no external safety? That really seems like a bad oversight if that's the case.
Michael Moore
>they still haven't updated the game to remove rank loss on quit
Really the game is pretty fun, but some design choices make it really frustrating and there's nothing quite new in the game, it's just the old one with better graphics, more voice lines, more guns but that's pretty much it.
Tarkov was a real letdown in this respect, the guns feel realistic but then when you shoot a cocksucker it looks like shit. Not to mention if they have armor it does almost nothing to them.
That would be fun too, but I'd still prefer a single player killing simulator with some good responses to the injuries, combined with realistic gun mechanics, just because there's a desperate need for this type of game right now. There are some decent military type multiplayer shooters already. I used to play Insurgency 2 all the time. Players you shot would roll around screaming in pain sometimes if you didn't hit a deadly body part, it was really great.
The Glock doesn't need a safety, the multi-stage trigger is already enough to prevent any discharges. It's pretty much statistically impossible for the trigger to be engaged by anything other than human operation.
So you want a realistic gunplay gore game? all i can think about is mods for, say, gmod, half life, arma, and so on.
Even when i first touched reciever i always thought more games should try that for concepts of reload and sprinting (i actually love how sprinting was made in reciever) and as ssuch, seeing DUST die was sad.
Thank GOD for VR to fill the gaps if you are rich enough tho.
Adam Jackson
>Does the glock 17 really have no external safety? mechanical safeties are a meme for pistols, all you need is a holster that covers the trigger guard if you don't want to carry it and trigger discipline when it's in your hands and you'll never have a problem t. /k/ommando who never uses his pistols' safties
Carson Parker
Retard, the point of the safety isn't just to make sure that the gun isn't discharged without a trigger pull, but also to make sure you aren't NDing. The safety is against human stupidity and negligence, not mechanical failure.
Connor Gonzalez
Not an option at the beginning of the game, which means you just get steamrolled endlessly by higher level players unless you just do scav runs and grind, and hide from other players. Fuck it.
>C9 Hi-point The tapes about it are hilarious >You may want to hide it somewhere your friends can't see >People use it as a gateway gun, a pistol they try before buying a real one Is it a /k/ thing to shit on this gun?
Noah Jones
I hate to be that guy, but a multiplayer receiver sounds rad as all fucking fuck
You sound like someone who doesn't have much experience with handguns you fuckin' cocksuckin' mutt. Pistol safeties were for a time when triggers were literally just a stick you pulled. They're simply outdated.
>tape starts silly talking about how they named one of their hipoint guns the "yeetcannon" because of an online vote >the same tape ends dramatically with how the creator of the same gun had one of their guns used in the columbine high school shooting
Ah alright cool. Still think the game gets pretty grindy around rank 4 as they don't spawn a lot of tapes or ammo and you don't hear the proximity drone to tip you off that there's something in the area
Michael Baker
>Is it a /k/ thing to shit on this gun? Yes. Due to low build quality, materials, and known to be the best choice for poor people.
Anthony Peterson
The browning hi-power is the most bottom of the barrel semiautomatic 10+ capacity handgun you can get in this day in age that's actually somewhat up to snuff in modern terms It is the option of incredibly poor niggas The C9 is carried by the niggas robbed by those poor niggas to go get a Hi-Power
Jose Harris
>This game would be a lot better if you weren't just shooting fuckin' machines mindkill can influence you to do shit like tell people to kill themselves, seems like at the extreme end it wouldn't be impossible for it to push people into hurting others, a solid enough excuse to have some human enemies running around with guns
Hudson Gutierrez
its probably the the worst modern production firearm out there. but its still profitable because its also one of the cheapest and survives on its popularity with gangmembers
post playtime this is how long it took me to beat the game once, im not bad I swear! Just everytime I had a good run i'd get to 4, or 5, and then stop being smart and just die over and over until I was back at rank 1.
Nogunz on /k/ shit on it because it's ugly and cheap and has a reputation for being used by the melanin enriched. Actual regulars will admit they're ugly and popular with dindus, but will also appreciate that they'll reliably go bang every time, being a simple blowback firearm cast out of melted Hot Wheels cars (no, really), and that aside from having the best warranty in the industry no questions asked and being willing to experiment with weird stuff (pistol cal carbines in the 90s before it was cool stateside, 10mm for everyone), HP was founded with the sole goal of giving even the most destitute American the means to defend himself and his loved ones with something better than a fucking Jennings or Bryco that will actually explode in your hand.
>HP was founded with the sole goal of giving even the most destitute American the means to defend himself and his loved ones with something better than a fucking Jennings or Bryco that will actually explode in your hand. only men of culture remember this part when talking about high points
Shitting on the c9 is a meme, mostly because you can get them brand new for $150 (meaning a lot of Jamals pick them up).
Honestly though, it's one of the most reliable pistols manufactured today. The blowback design makes it sort of heavy, but makes recoil much lower than a lot of other pistols. Hi Point manufactures them in America and they have a lifetime warranty (for the lifetime of the gun, not the owner, meaning it essentially never expires).
It's a great pistol to buy if you're a poorfag but still want to utilize your 2A right, or if you want to have an extra pistol or two (for your truck, or somewhere in your house) but don't want to spend $600 on another Glock or whatever.
Yeah, the suicides would go really well with having some other humans populating the areas, it would be pretty cool and funny if there was a slim random chance that enemies would end up shooting themselves or going crazy on their own guys, due to the hypnosis. They could make it scary too by having people completely schizo while they're attacking you, saying psycho shit or looking fuckin' inhuman the way extremely high meth addicts look.
