I played this game for like 2 hours and was pretty bored.

The game feels like wasted potential.
Also it crashes way too often.

I like the game, but man they're going way too hard on the narrative. There's a bunch of cutscenes and voice acting for the opening half of the game, but it's all so uninteresting. It's like they were really trying to aim for THE LORE audience.
Thankfully, there are options to completely avoid the story crap.

I thought the lore was interesting. But whatever, it's skippable so everybody wins.

Sound design of guns carried this game for me. It was alright, I didn't drop it so it's a 7/10 in my book. Had no problems with crashes or bugs on cracked version.

the DLC looks good too. Finally added in the roguelike mode I wanted. Kind of works like Risk of Rain now, which is great

not enough loot

Just finished it today. Final boss glitched when i killed him and didnt actually die although i still got the rewards, wouldnt let me retry either. Really annoying. The game is fine but just felt like filler to me. Solid gunplay, surprisingly great music, very whatever everything else

I fucking hate this so much. I would have preferred for the bosses to be faster and have a larger health bar than this bullshit. I spend more time fighting the minions than actually fighting the fucking bosses. It's a god damn joke.

Fuck that piece of shit when he has Skullcracker.

Third person over the shoulder shooter with semi randomly generated areas. Almost literally Dark Souls with guns. There's quite a few bosses that can be generated per area so you can keep generating a new one to get it.
Also the final boss is one of the absolute worst pieces of shit fights I have ever seen. It is aggressively not fun but the rest is alright. Game is decent if you want to run around shooting things, melee is garbage, and absolutely do not play above normal mode on your first playthrough.

Really there was a mid to get the assault rifle sooner

I hated the boss until I realized he had a weakspot after he wipes your stacking buff. After that you can down him in 2 - 3 phases. Takes like 5min tops.
