This game is based incarnate. Perhaps the most based game I’ve ever played.

>t. not a current player
I bet you're just one of those assholes who joined during a free period and haven't touched it since.
But seriously, I do enjoy it because it lets me play something I haven't gotten out of any other game. You can say "play dark souls, it's got better dueling", well Dark Souls duels are 'block with a shield or roll the fuck out of the way', and you're not fighting anything like you, you fight monsters which scratches another fetish and as I can tell, you only have a limited number of attacks and no real combinations or mixups. And in the end, Dark Souls and For honor just aren't equitable.
And lately I'm just frustrated with a lot of the choices the dev team have made though with these 'throwback events' that aren't even the bigger event game modes from this last year, and then there's the lack of lightsabers for this year's May The 4th.
i want to get into this game but i'm worried its dead on pc
plus i just want to play nobushi
Its the closest thing we'll get to realistic fighting.
Too bad real fighting is dull and boring.
It's a great game but it's also a pseudo fighting game which means it gets boring after an hour
as I can tell it's more lively on PC than on console, but it is a slowdown period even with the damn coronavirus keeping folks in and depending on your region. All the more slowed down due to a simple lack of updates and this year will see a dramatic slowdown in heroes from the previous one.
give it to me straight user, will i be cucked in my choice of character?
Really fun game that has great potential. Shame it's dead.
Hope they do a sequel soon that fixes some of the issues.
Just play mordhau, way better duels
if you play hitokiri and/or black prior, you're a faggot
Honestly, any character can be made to work. Orochi is considered one of the crappiest characters in the game and if you look up someone like NovaKing, he can make Orochi into a beast in brawls and duels.
Nobushi is currently lagging performance wise due to slow light attacks, even slower heavy attacks, and a slow bash, but if you learn to feint your attacks, time your parries, you can create the openings you need or just 'out mindgame opponents'. I can't give a good answer since I play only vs. AI.
Also Nobushi does have some half-decent fashion, but like about all launch heroes, marching fire armors aside, they all tend to be designed to look worn down and tattered.
For honor is anything but realistic
Nah, even the bad characters have annoying bullshit you can scam people with.
remember, we have a general but had to put it on sleep until the next season starts because we had nothing interesting to talk about, see you lads on june 11 there
>still no 7vs1 saxton hale mode or even 8 player ffa
Ubisoft...
I should go back to this, it's the closest thing to fighting games I've ever enjoyed. If they're slowing down updates I hope it's to make a new one.
For Honor 2 when?
What would you want to see in a For Honor 2?
>18000 millions sold
>hardly 5000 players per day.
I would play it if someone else would actually play it. Waiting for a match for more than 5 minutes its not acceptable in 2020. I could have cum 3 times during those 5 minutes I wasted waiting.
we get a new prince of Persia sooner than a fh2 lmao
>new prince of Persia
If I was in coma for he past 15 years I would get so fucking excited. Nu ubisoft cant make a good video game anymore so this news actually makes me sad. Another dead franchise is going to be risen only to be defiled and perverted
i will agree with you if the new AC will use the same formula as Origins and Odyssey. they promised they will break free from this open world craft rpg recipe. if they will hold their promise i have high hopes for a new PoP
What about people who play j*rm
I haven't played since beta so I don't know shit
But here's my totally based and redpilled opinions on what's wrong with this game I haven't played in half a decade
>too easy to parry attacks
>feints are too constrained by stamina cost
>not really such a thing as blockstrings
>spacing doesn't really exist due to perspective + range smoothing on attacks
>guard break shove is really powerful
It could be improved by instituting changes like the following
>attacks can be delayed by holding the button down, at no extra stamina cost
>attacks can be cancelled, costs stamina
>attack chains can be cancelled into each other (delays startup of first attack in new chain)
>blocks don't interrupt chains, parries do
>when locked on, camera moves further out to the side so you can judge range better
>dodges modified into forward crash (acts as an interrupt), side dodges (dodge top attacks, some characters have unique weave animations that may dodge some side attacks), rear pullaway (can dodge attacks on the end of their range)
>most chars can only shove straight backwards, short distance, stronger "grappler" chars e.g. shugoki have more powerful shoves, more direction control etc.
There game is instantly fixed 10/10 ign
ubi hire the man in my mirror

Are you sure that investing this much time in a competitive genre is a good way to review it? Maybe it's just your taste.
Fun game but it gets boring after a while
a rewards system that's maybe a little less dogshit
I'd like the Chinese faction to fucking die
please tell me we got that fucking cent and combat rework
nope, sorry. Corona Virus and Ubisoft delayed it.
If nothing else, it'd be nice to at least use steel to unlock the weapon and armor appearances so you don't need to do a million fights or use scavenger crates just to unlock that one damn armset you want but haven't managed to get in countless matches, reps, and in over twenty crates.
I mean, wasn't big on the addition of the wu lin either, but it is a slight shame since China does have more weapons to pick from than Vikings do. I mean, they had to grab a Scotsman and and steal a knife from a culture that never interacted with vikings in any way shape or form to fill out their roster. And I don't even know if Vikings ever used hammers in battle. (which is pretty weird given how simple they are and the big iconography associated with them)
>delayed
god i hate chinks so fucking much, i had tons of fun in that playtest
