Mouse + Keyboard.
Do not.
Anomaly
Vanilla and on master difficulty
How the do people play gunslinger with no frame dips??? I can't take 10 steps before I stuttering like crazy
In chronological order (Starting with Shadow) and using the Zone Reclaimation Project mod only. Difficulty you can pick on your liking, don't trust the morons who claim lower difficulties make enemies tougher, it's a famously disproven myth. I did find master difficulty most enjoyable, but the early game can be a bitch with it. Early game in general is a bitch on all difficulties though, it pretty much takes up till you get to Agroprom research facility and get your hands on decent automatic guns to get going.
Best of luck.
Isn't this a standalone mod?
Cheers anons, guess I'll go master and only with ZRP. Do you guys think it's fun/doable with no crosshair and no HUD? A friend was recommending I play like this but it sounds difficult

I don't think no hud no crosshair really add that much to the game, since the game relies quite a lot on them to convey vital information, but you can give it a shot. I can imagine it being pretty frustrating though.
I say keep the hud for your first playthrough
first time just use zrp. after you finish it and you like the game then start modding stuff and tuning the game to how you like it and turning stuff on/off. just play it and have fun and if you like it you'll play through it many times, don't overthink it.
Call of Pripyat is best Stalker.
Dunno about no HUD, but turning off the crosshair is the only correct way to play.
Mouse + keyboard, hardest difficulty, vanilla on first playthrough, a bottle of vodka and a sausage on the desk, gas mask on head (take off only to consume vodka and sausage), slav squat on the chair.
Autumn Aurora 2.1
Steam update fucked the enb so don't install it, but still looks godtier without it
I have just finished watching the Chernobyl TV series. Anything like it you guys recommend?
I replay that almost every year, except last.
I kept crashing when going into a certain area.
No crosshairs and always go for headshots, slav guns are good but western guns are best for headshots.
Vanilla + ZRP
What are the best mods these days? I remember liking LURK a few years ago.
I remember playing Call of Chernobyl too but it got old fast since there wasn't much actual content just repeating side quests. Is there anything new for CoC that makes it worthwhile?
Vintar and Groza absolutely dominate bitchboi western guns.
>Anomalmeme
Of course because they're endgame guns, i like em too you know.
I had to clear out pda quests en masse once or twice because my game would crash when I tried to go to new areas
Ignored the bs wishgranter and couldn't even finish the game because trying to leave the underground to destroy the collective crashed my game every single time
What's the best gun and why is it the Sniper VAL?
All the mods are spinoffs of CoC now, there's literally nothing original anymore
watch some documentaries about the complex expedition
Watch Stalker 1979
ZRP+OWR and maybe turning up the FOV a little
VSS best gun, thank god you get 2 of them too.
