REmake is fucking great, but it's classic format. If they remade it for the modern format I think it'd sell well, so it has potential there. I prefer the classic styled games, but I don't mind if they make new versions of them.

Because rng is unnecessary and supposed to represent hitting shots in different places in fixed camera gameplay. It doesn't make sense that a 9mm make an head explode and the second later it takes 10 rounds

why is everyone so fucking dumb about this point? If another remake of Resident Evil WERE to be made, it wouldn't be a remake of 2002's Gamecube exclusive Resident Evil. It would be a REmake 2 style remake of RE1's concept. A REmake 2 style mansion, with REmake 2 style enemeies/characters, mechanics and new plot points. The hallway of the mansion would look different from RE1 or REmake the way that REmake 2's RPD hall looks different from RE2's RPD hall. It would be something entirely different from 1996 and 2002.
It would be an "RE1" that fits the universe of REmake2/REmake 3.

RE2 was perfect the way it was. Many of you on Zig Forums seem to misunderstand why fans of a particular game ask for remakes. No fan of RE2 who considers RE2 their favourite game asked Capcom for a remake of RE2 because they hate their favourite game.

Considering REmake already exists, and that it's damn near a perfect game, I'd rather they spend the resources remaking 0 or CV. Both games are a chore for me to play, so to have them remade in the new style would be great. But then again, they'd have to greatly change the sillyness of the main villains in both games, to make them fit with the new series, and maybe that'd get ppl angry.

Speak for your fucking self. RE2 is my favourite game of all time, not "favourite RE game" no, it's my favourite game out of ALL the video games that exist in the world and you know what? REmake 2? Runner up. Best game of RE since RE4. Hands down. The RE game we needed. Based. Pilled. What ever the fuck it was great. GOTY 2019 and everyone knows it. When it finally breaks records in the next 12 months and sells more than RE5 did and takes the top spot of RE games on that platinum Capcom titles official website, im going to say "based." And i KNOW that's how must RE2fags like me feel. Did it surpass the OG? No, that's the greatest video game of all time. Does it get a throne? Fuck yes it does. Right up there with REmake, RE4 and RE2.
