It felt like it was easier to make maxed out gear and items with rebuild, and other than the final boss refight and the chair lolis there isn't any post game bosses to fight. Overall it felt much easier than the previous games so I would say that it was just okay, still worth playing if you like atelier games.

Didn't like it, carried by coomer stuff. JRPGs died out to me for a while because they can't bring something new to the table. Last one I can think of that I actually enjoyed was FFX-2, gameplay was great and the stories was a wild ride if you just give up on the plot.
It has an alchemy system that's going for it as the unique thing it brings to the JRPG genre but it didn't do it for me.

It was the first Atelier that I played and I enjoyed it a lot. It saddens me that so many people reduce Ryza to being nothing more than fanservice, because there is little of that in the game, and at the end of the day she is such a nice, relatable character. The atmosphere is warm and comfy, the soundtrack fits the setting perfectly and the overall story, although predictable and a bit boring, was decent. I also liked how every aspect of the game (combat, exploration, side-quest, etc.) were strongly connected to alchemy, and the good sense of progress that it provides
