PSP version is the best. It's so fucking beautiful. I really wish VI got the same treatment.

Kind of related? But I really wish III got a GBA port.
III DS didn't do the original game justice. A lot of changes was for the worse. Felt like if III was on the GBA it would get the same treatment as I and II, which were vast improvements.

Why not, the remakes of 3 and 4 are 2 of my favorite FF games. I love the 3d chibi look. Always wanted to play 6 in that style.

That six is the best Final Fantasy game. They can fuck up FF7's remake and people will still defend it because FF7 fans are largely insane, anime-loving girls. FF6's fanbase is made up of people that represent the original Final Fantasy fanbase before the aesthetic of the series took a massive turn for the worse. If they fucked up an FF6 remake they'd lose what little respect older fans still hold for the Final Fantasy name.
I really miss the older FF games, 1 - 6 specifically that had a much more comfy aesthetic and tried to mirror western fantasy in its own way, before the series diverted into what it is now; tranny fantasy a la FFXIV.
