One of my villagers randomly wanted to move out of the blue one day. I ended up finding someone who wanted them for a shitload of tickets and then afterwards just dumped them onto my most wanted from boxes since I wasn’t really hurting on tickets. Aside from that one villager I’ve been taking my chances with RNG.

Any anons kind enough to just come and hang out? My turnips are shit, no traveling merchant, nobody in boxes, nobody's doing DIY and my island is ugly. 4TCLX

Fence off any trees or flowers you don't want them to touch. Pick up anything off the ground that you don't want them to grab because they can take anything that's on the ground. And fence off Able Sisters if you don't want them to be able to put custom patterns in there because anyone can put them in there.

Anyone got pink slippers at their Able Sisters? I need them for a cosplay I'm making. If you can't guess which character, you're gonna have a bad time.

If you don't have anything people want, you might only get two visitors. You'd think Zig Forums likes to just drop in on islands and chat, but in reality the grand majority just scramble to service islands.
However, those that come to your island because they want to will usually be cool and good people.
The people visiting your islands so they can exploit it will probably steal anything they can if they're not in cutscene hell.

Keep a good eye on the custom designs over at the tailor shop. Someone might put up meme shirts and animals will start wearing those designs if you leave them there for too long.

yeah that it, Knox. im gonna set up mini biomes with villagers. a desert for ankha and lucky, a renaissance setting for knox and sterling. maybe one more, but maybe not, i used a lot of my north eastern island for my house in a lake setup.
