a good star wars game

Why don't you play to find out faggot

The peak of lightsaber combat

Okay!

Another game added to the backlog!!!!

Expect guns to be extra useless, almost vestigial

OP here
2 minutes in and my game keeps crashing after I manually changed my resolution to widescreen. How the fuck do I fix this? Do I change it back to 800x600?

multiplayer is pretty much dead unless you get the moviebattles 2 mod - much fun, highly recommend it

First off, do it outside of the game or you're going to have a bad time. Use autoexec in the game's base folder.

1) Go to the game's folder (Default is /Steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy)
2) Go to GameData and open Base
3) Create a new text file
4) Open the new text file and write the above commands (seta r_customwidth, height etc.)
5) Save the file as "autoexec.cfg", not "autoexec.txt"
6) Done - the file will run automatically every time you start the game

>i'm cool because I don't discuss video games on the video game board

Commands in autoexec:

seta r_customwidth (your resolution width, for example 1920)
seta r_customheight (your resolution height, for example 1080)
seta r_mode -1

>running through cave devoid of life
>throw saber for fun
>three dark jedi spawn and are eviscerated before having a chance to light their sabers
top tier jedi combat, its not actually amazing but its legit the best we have ever had

I liked the single player.
I would avoid the previous game, Jedi Outcast. Its single player is fucking obtuse.

>avoid a better story and campaign
c'mon now

Why don't you use your lightsaber to cut that tree down and make a bridge

It's still crashing... Is there something wrong with my PC's video card then?

I'm feeling a little sad right now, feels like I just wasted $3

>I'm cool because I buy games, don't play them and ask what others think instead

Fun.

And it has a ton of mods.

JA is good but its campaign/levels are not as good as Jedi Outcast and the story's pretty weak. On the other hand, its lightsaber combat is probably the best of any SW game.

When you're kind of burned out on the normal game, you can also use the console to stage your own fights, which is pretty fun.

Yes.

This scene scared my youngest cousin so bad haha

nobody gives a fuck

>Hey Jaden
>Hello Jaden
>Jaden help me!

>Those first two levels
>Nar Shadaa sniper alley
>Pretty much anything before Bespin
>That shoehorned stealth segment
The story is superior to JA but some of the levels can fuck off

One of the few games with good sword combat.

A game from the times when people knew how to make good games

mb2 is fun, but getting competitive at the lightsaber combat requires literal autism

Fuck you

Getting the lightsaber in JK2 was the best feeling ever after you've been forced to go through multiple levels with just guns

Fuck off faggot lol

If it's any worth to you, I disliked JA levels more because they where much shorter and gimmicky

If you got the PC version, play it with us. We've got bonuses and fixes. PC versions usually cheap or easy to find too.

What the fuck was the MC's problem?
He acted like an arrogant prick half the game.

*ergh*
*arg*
"stop that Jaden"
