I still don't get why they made Steve so hamfisted. You find out he's gay because he broadcasts a message from his dead husband over the ship's loudspeakers.

That he doesn't have a gym scene where you both encourage each-other on the bench press.

He's a pretty good character in his own right, he is the MC of a movie so if you wanna know his backstory go watch that.

He was the epitome of meh. He's not your bro. Garrus is like 506439 times more of a bro than Vega. Vega's just a body building soldier who occasionally speaks spanish words. No romance options and his main character arc is "Should I apply for N7 training?"

From his design you'd except him to be generic human male team member like Jacob from 2 but Beef McBigHuge was actually a really good party member

Steve was the bland one I don't remember anything about him besides his tragic gay backstory and how goofy it is on earth if you've spoke to him at all points

From what I heard the flag on the dialogue is broken so the game thinks you've romanced him which is why its such an overdramatic line.

While it never gets as good as 1/2, a modded 3 isn’t that bad, especially if you change the ending
