Is it a supply line problem or a "Nintendo underproduces everything" problem?
Is it a supply line problem or a "Nintendo underproduces everything" problem?
what even is on the Switch that's driving up prices, anyway?
It's because of the slowed production of the system due to the coronavirus lockdowns.
If this was any other time, the Switch would be fully stocked.
More like a covid 19 problem
It's a "almost everything is fucking quarantined and can't produce more" problem.
well, i didn't wanna bring up the pandemic since that's pretty much a given; was wondering if there's something else at work, like exclusives for instance. are the other consoles seeing similar spikes?
animal crossing definitely drove up sales, but by how much? I'm not sure
>pandemic lockdowns
>animal crossing
>nintendo intentionally keeping supplies low
Why is the switch lite fully stocked everywhere right now, when it uses most of the same components?
It's a scalper problem. Don't blame Nintendo.
>Animal Crossing
at this point i'm tempted to dust off my DS and try out Wild World for real this time.
even if it were scalpers, nintendo would still be to blame for not producing enough that the scalpers cant take advantage of
Are you retarded? Scalpers would still just buy them.
How would Nintendo be at fault if they're producing more than enough to go around but scalpers are buying them all to resell?
That's a problem with Amazon's policies, if anything.
I wonder why they didn't implemented a "one per account" policy still, hm?
>inb4 you can bypass that by creating another account
Force 2FA for authenticity and permission to buy them. Go as far as fingerprint or FaceID.
Because no one wants a fucking switch lite.
Probably a mix of both, not to mention the scalpers have bots made that immediately scoop up any 300 dollar switches being sold on amazon.
Scalpers should get the rope
>Force 2FA for authenticity and permission to buy them. Go as far as fingerprint or FaceID.
Yeahno it's not that simple. FaceID and fingerprint data is stored locally on the device and is not registered to some database. To top that off, you can't limit one per address either, because that would ruin roommates and family members trying to get it.
You want to stop scalpers you have to find them and shoot them.
Most of the factories that produce these are in China and that place is still on lockdown due to this shitty meme flu
Nintendo hasn't really under produced intentionally since the 90s so I would say scalpers plus corona.
who cares. pick up a monado
Is this how you're shitposting about Nintendo these days.
cringe and bluepilled
Also the scalperbots.
This. "Artificial scarcity" is a dumb reddit meme.
>meme flu
Whats retardation like?
WEAR YOUR MASK, GOYIM.
>.02% fatality rate on people who aren't over the age of 100
>HOLY SHIT LETS DESTROY PEOPLES LIVES AND THE WORLD ECONOMY BECAUSE A BUNCH OF FAGGOT OLD PEOPLE ARE DYING
I dunno user you tell me.
Supply line + scalpers.
Have you been under a literal rock for the last few months?
We've got the virus slowing/shutting down factories, and there's a bot that scalpers are using to buy up literally every copy of the regular Switch that shows up under a certain price, so they can resell it for double the price.
I was asking you.
both probably
>confirmed 14-21 year old man
Based
22 actually but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Nobody over the age of 60 deserve to live for any reason what so ever.
