hard to believe

Where's the source?
I doubt a soulless unfun boring remake on the same level of Pokemon sell that much

Nips really like Pokemon.

It's real holy shit

Incredibly based if true.

The Remake of ToM isn't the level of pokemon. It's actually fully 3d from it's original 2d and changed the battle system up to support that.
But regardless of that. ToM outsells FFVIIR for that week only in Japan.
It's not total sales of the games. Just that weeks sales and in Japan only. So it's a nitpicked win for shitposters.

ToM is still fun regardless of these shitposters.

>caring about sales numbers as a player
>caring about metacritic scores or game journo opinion pieces
>not just playing a game and enjoying it yourself

I literally don't understand today's "gamer". All these charts tell me is how normie a game is, as evidenced by AC: New Horizons absurd sales. My coworkwers who haven't touched a game console in their life bought a Switch and are playing this game.

Are we living in best timeline for once?

Drones really like pokemon.
They couldn't care less what glaring problems every new game gets.

nomura got btfo

>Trials of Mana
They should have advertised it here then, there is literally no mention of this game here, what do they fucking expect?

This. Retards only buy what's right in front of them.

OK, Boomer.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO FF7R WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR BIG SINCE WE KNOW TLOU2 AND GHOSTS WILL FLOP
FUCKKKKK GET IN THE DISCORD WE NEED TO COORDINATE DAMAGE CONTROL

I attribute AC:New Horizon's success to the to being release right before most states and countries prohibited non-essential stores from being open and during the start of people being forced to stay inside.

Normies couldn't go outside to socialize so they stay inside and socialize via animal crossing.

FF7R is still sold out in Japan, but you knew that already shitposter.

You know, discord trannies have been defending Trials of Mana's censorship on PS4 while also shitting on it since day -1

Misleading article. It is comparing first week sales to lifetime sales.

FF7R has already sold x 10 in its first week what Trials of Mana sold on its first week, and it will only fall off further from here.

Site has an axe to grind and is not credible information for sales figures.

>comparing sales for a game that came out near the end of the month and right at the start at the month and one of them is a multi port release. And a month old game still sold relatively close to the top game that was release just last week.
Good god Billy and his shills are mentally retarded.

there was no censorship on PS4 it ran on at more than 20FPS like the switch so skirts fell faster

The fact that he shilled his article here and brain dead retards latched onto it like it's somehow skew the argument towards them is what pisses me off than this the article itself. He's no better than IGN and those “SJW game journous” that he and his ilk hates.

Also Sakura wars outside the top 40, it sold in the 3 digits region.

Sales means potential sequels, and I would love to see a new Mana game on the same style of Trials.

Damn
Still
>sega
>knowing how to advertise their games (or doing anything right)

why is Sega so bad at first party games?

Is that good or bad? Heard that it's not doing well in Japan from Sakurafags in Zig Forums. The anime as well doesn't seem to be doing well.

going multimedia with an anime tie in and character CDs seems like the standard playbook for this type of game though. they also had Kubo and the GuP/Strike Witches/Kancolle guy design characters to get their respective audiences interested. if it failed I think it's because of the genre and gameplay style being out of date and not the marketing.

I hate people that try to make this into some sort of fucking sales competition. It doesn't matter if the game outsells FF7 or not, all that matters is if it was success enough for Square Enix to take notice and possibly do something new with the series.

Doesn't help that its 10 mins of dynasty warriors hidden inside of 30 hours of dating sim.

Wow, maybe it'll break 300k in its lifetime! Massive success! Woohoo, let's celebrate!

wtf I can't believe ff7 remake only sold 65,000 copies world wide...
