It's a great platformer that Namco incompetently marketed so it became a underrated gem, which is an absolute shame
It's a great blending of 2D gameplay with 3D depth to the world, a unique story, and great artwork and soundtrack

It's fun but too easy.
There's a bonus stage you unlock by getting all collectibles and it's really challenging.
Makes me wish there was a whole campaign with that level of difficulty.
The gba games were also pretty good, but still lack the 2.5d and gorgeous sprites of the original.
Tried the PS2 one but didn't really like that one, so I dropped it after it crashed and I lost like 2 hours of gameplay.
The series had (still has imo) potential.

I would love a port of Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2 on Switch. Would probably buy them as fast as I bought the Doom ports, which is to say instantaneously.
For those of you who might be wondering, Doom 1 and 2 ports are really good now, 3 is decent, 4 is a miracle that it runs on the hardware at a playable framerate.

Klonoa represents the magic and innocence of my childhood.
I honestly hope they stop trying to revive it and just let the character rest in piece. He's a product of his time and shouldn't be tainted by our modern reality any further.
