worse

Nice buffy poster

I dunno i was poor and a stupid child.

SOUL

I've seen this picture so many times and I just noticed this dude is wearing a fubu hoodie. How many times do you think that dude got his ass kicked before someone told him what fubu meant?

Things were fun. Gaming wasn't about social media and getting likes and followers. It was just you and your friends and your own experiences as opposed to other peoples experiences.

did a lot of blowing

It was a magical time but gaming didn't peak until the early-mid 00s.

did a lot of blowjob

9-11 ruined EVERYTHING

Probably zero. I saw a ton of white dudes wearing Fubu growing up. The black dudes didn't care. I still remember someone telling me what the JNCO acronyms meant.

This.

Awesome. Go to store and spend 90+ minutes trying to choose which game or games you'd buy. Talk with other local gamers. Talk with the store employees about games and shit. Depending on the store, they'd give you a sweet deal or advice. One store had a "porch" of sorts and a bunch of us would just hang there shooting the breeze.

Awesome times. Ppl in their late teens / early 20s have no idea how much fun life is at that stage of their lives compared to 20+ years down the road. Cherish every fucking day bc that shit does not last...

More fun

I miss CRTs

I'm still pissed the PS1 Mini was such a shitshow. You gotta fuck up real bad for my overly-nostalgic ass to not buy one even at $25.

I still have my 32 inch Sony crt. Never throwing it away. Only downside is it weighs like 150lbs.

Simpler fun times. No agendas, political correctness, just video games.

You had the belief and excitement that games would only continue to get better

Good shit. We had one about the size of the OP pic that we played PS1/2 games on until LCD era. I kind of want to hook up a CRT just for the hell of it

You could rent games back then and it was safer since you had little info like we do now

>I still remember someone telling me what the JNCO acronyms meant.
What does it mean? Is it some politically charged phrase?

did teenage boys really have pinup posters in their rooms back then?

Is Sarah Michelle Gellar the most 90s girl or is it Britney?

You could actually get stuck in a game and have no way of figuring it out other than keep trying by yourself.

This was just 1999

The same as it is now. I was bitter and unhappy, but about different things.

only faggots

Yep, Jeans n'ers can't afford. It was bullshit of course because JNCO mean Judge None Choose One. But it caught on where I lived and other parts of the midwest.

Jesus christ, how have we degraded so badly on original content?

We'd be lucky to have one impressive original game in a year.

We have to go back...

fun. idk what you want me to say man, it was an era with great games, tech rapidly changed so you had big leaps, it was niche so wasn't completely laden down and oversaturated with dogshit. games today are very bland and boring on average far more than they were back then

Honestly Sarah never got my motor going.

only faggots that wanted to be Britney had a poster of her in their room

We will never go back
