How did Percival climb up so high since launch? First people were saying he was B, then A, and now S.
They're both fairly awful, If anything I would give Soriz an edge over Lowain. What is your issue with that placement? And please don't say Yggy, she's the worst part about Lowain, much in the same way that one of the worst parts of Soriz is his SSBA install. Not being able to guarantee damage with SSBA is a big weakness in this game.
Unparalled ground control now that Kat is nerfed, plus frames on demand, big damage, big buttons, an un-rollable fireball, can change his landing arc with j.U, blow up fireballs with reaction super, etc. How is he not S-Tier?

Vas is underrated, it's just that few players have the intellect to play him properly or opt to play a less frustrating character. Doesn't make Vas bad, makes him hard.
Tier lists are completely irrelevant at the shitter level most people are. Just post more cute.
It feels like Percival is the actual shoto of the game now, aside from his charge/dash stuff. At least when I'm fighting him it doesn't feel weighted heavily in his favor like Gran or Djeeta.

I don't buy the "tier lists only matter for the best players" shit that people like to push. Sure they probably matter less, but it's not like people just don't use the tools that make good characters good because they're in C/B/A.

Below A, you probably aren't going to find anyone doing Ferry's nasty mix or even just using her install super.
It's a weird relationship. On one hand, a character like Gran will feel like an S-Tier at any level of play, whereas a character like Ladiva is only going to feel A+ tier at higher levels, where Ladiva players will typically have great neutral and understand how to approach characters with strong zoning tools.

Not gonna lie I hate this song. It's the theme of "outplay your opponent for 40 seconds until he gets a lucky LLL xx SSBA and now you're both at 20% health lol". This song breeds stress.
People might have a good understanding of their character but that doesn't mean they know what tools specifically they need to abuse in a certain matchup that would make it favorable.

I'm not saying they use every tool at their disposal but top tiers are top tiers for a lot of reasons not just one. If you don't think an A level Gran player is going to have an easier time than an A level Soriz player then I don't know what to tell you.

He was actually high rated in Japan and Korea prior to the patch. They all thought he was good from launch and it was really only in the west where he was thought of as anything but top tier.
People figured out easy ways to get stacks through block strings and combo routes and the patch just gave him better routes so he went even higher
Tier lists have nothing to do with shitters having an easier time or not, it's based on optimal play and favorable matchups.
Well it's a factor on how skill integral what makes them top tier is. A shitty charlotta would be more likely to be using the tools he should be using than say Metera or Ladiva. For example Zato in GG when he's top tier most people don't play him even though he's one of the best picks. The counterbalance to it is that Zato is also one of the hardest characters in that game and finding a competent Zato were few and far between. All that theory of whether or not a tier list matters to a lower skill player or not will always comes down to how easy is it to do the top tier material.

You are missing the matchup part. It doesn't matter if his tools are easy to use or not.
I agree it's not cut and dry and depends on the character, but people like to spout that tier lists just don't matter at a low level and I really don't agree. Some characters are just fucking GOOD and you don't need to have exceptional skill to make use of those good tools. Especially in a game like Granblue where the skill floor is really quite low for the most part.
Things people lose at the shitter level you will usually get fucked for at a high level. Sure you can make a tier list for easily abuseable shit but the wifebeater certainly didn't have that in mind.
It should still be a little better on block. For such a high risk move, you get very little in return.

I'm not talking about "abusable shit". Good normals, good damage, good frame data, good pressure all contribute to a character being considered top tier and all of those things come into play even at low levels.

he was good before. the people who used to be better are now worse. System wide changes benefit him
not that user but i'm B1 and people here do frame traps, punish my unsafe stuff, do proper block strings, mix me up, take half my health in the corner, etc
