i think i saw it done by a friend once or maybe just pure coincidence. the one that really got me was the hidden wall in tall tall mountain. had to look that up on internet

People who are pretending this star isn't cryptic are being silly. This one of my favorite games and this one is still extremely missable, and you're most likely to get it is by playing around (assuming that you don't know it).

I didn't catch this and never experimented with bomb staircases, so I never got the good ending. Following that one shitty "official" guide didn't help either.

The hitbox is huge and there's only so many walls you can hit from the cannon placement. Five-year olds figured this out.

It shows you in the credits. Literally the only star the game shoves right in your face. No kid is going to watch the game credits and not notice the giant yellow star pan past their screen and not figure it out

When running up the level I fell off and collected the star.
I didn’t think much about it until I found out it was well known glitch later on
