Yes and no.
You can usually just run a vote kick and they’ll leave before it finishes, real fast. The issue is when they’re more than like 4 bots, they’ll outvote the team.
Also, they’re moving into MvM now with 1,000 plus tour guys having a site to catalog players they don’t like and shove bots into Mann Up servers to keep a spot open for the tryhard guys.

Was playing with a friend and they were full at the time but after those 15 we did jump on to creators, love those servers. Really feels like pre-MYM matchmaking where you'd just hit "play" and after a loading bar scanning thousands of servers it'd throw you into whatever over and over again and you'd get lost in TF2 for hours.

TF2 was always safe. You aren't putting your computer or your security at risk by playing on official servers. The worst that could happen is that you run into a cheater every few matches, which are often quickly kicked.
