I despise the pier. It is the bane of my existence. I have fished off of it at least 150 times by now (which means I also collected at least 150 manila clams, and watched the fucking crafting animation for bait at least 150 times), and have only caught two mahi-mahis and not a single giant trevally. The pier is absolute fucking horseshit.
Seriously, who in their sadistic fucking mind thought it was a good idea to have certain fish only spawn at the pier? What absolute satanist then decided to make those mother fuckers insanely rare?
I'm losing my fucking mind. I'm honestly considering just hacking my switch and spawning a trevaly in (I have the right serial at least).

so whats the point of this game after a while? I unlocked the island designer, played around with it a bit, added roads etc, then completely got bored with the game.

Feels like it needs more variability, quests, etc, to make the island feel more alive

>Not a huge fan of the "indoor outdoor" ""buildings"" anyway
>Already have a fancy area with a fountain and benches and bushes and nice flowers to the right of resident services and have an ornate garden for my museum so making a fancy entrance area to the left just seems like overkill
>Band area is redundant and silly looking when KK will sit 20 feet away from it instead despite my desire to set up a space for villagers to play instruments and sing, probably just gonna set that up on the beach desu it'll be cuter their anyway
>Full blown playgrounds are tacky and stupid and even if I made one it wouldn't be sitting front and center for guests to see the moment they enter
>Kind of leaning towards just leaving it natural but I'm pretty close to my tree limit so all I can do is rearrange trees to fill the gap left by the cranny and I dont think it will be enough

Already planning to use the Gundam for an eventual mad science lab in the back of the island that's currently just a generic placeholder yard but will be changed when I get enough star fragments and sprocket.
Don't want to do a generic garden w/ statues area because I have a museum park for gardens and statues already. Feels redundant
