Why aren't you playing the best rhythm game ever made?

And yet it's absolute shit. It's quite the achievement in itself.

Why, though?

I'm a huge slut for well-spaced, well-timed jumps. They're so satisfying to hit.

What's your favorite beatmap?

community full of cringy ugly chinks and weebs you mean

It gave me rsi and I literally cannot hold a pen without it being painful

>best rhythm game ever made?

My favorite keeps changing, but recently I've really been liking Cold Green Eyes and Im Glad You're Evil Too

Yet not as fun as the three games that inspired it.
My favorite beatmap is the EBA x AA one with "Don't stop me now as the song." If you want me to play more Osu! gimmie more tracks like that.

not enough mechanical depth to satisfy the true autists for the genre, there's a reason IIDX is still the OG king despite being an unintuitive piece of shit

combo game

spyware

Nightcore crap and weebshit songs. No thanks.

>boots up the game after not playing since 2012
>plays a couple of songs
>takes a break and reads #all chat
>same and new retards overusing shit osu jokes, etc etc
>close game and dont boot up again

>Cold Green Eyes
One of my favorite songs but which map? There are 4 ranked and countless unranked. I kinda prefer Sotarks' version because it has the best flow.

been playing for 5 years, will play for another 5. fun game if you don't take it too seriously and burn yourself out

I closed it 10 minutes ago because I get tilted that I'm not very good.

+EBA's beatmaps are so boring. The highest difficulty in EBA is like the lowest difficulty in osu!

I think the only reason autists don't like osu! is because it's a rhythm game that you can easily download and get maps for and start playing. The rhythm game community has some strange stockholm syndrome for wanting to pay $5 for a go on a machine or fucking around trying to get arcade dumps running and spending hundreds on specialist controllers

osu! can be played with a keyboard and a mouse and just works out of the box. This gets rhytnm autists absolutely seething.

>cold green eyes
Mein negger

>full of weeb crap
>entirely consists of nothing but weeb crap
>osu veterans themselves calling it crap and telling others not to pick it up
>one button gameplay, two if you feel particularly bored to play those awful nightcore maps on 1.5x
>is a copy of Osu Tatakae Ouendan and other rhythm games, a bad one

Remind me again why I should care about a game that is only fun to play for 5 minutes

I love rhythm games but osu seems like shit

Can I play Taiko mode without drums?

eh, for me having a novel control scheme is a major part of what makes rhythm games fun. Traditional keyboard rhythm games just don't do it for me anymore because the only thing you can do to add difficulty is increase note density. I dropped Osu years ago for pretty much the same reason.

Play osu! standard maybe?

yes

this sounds like cope for someone who spent $20000 on a DDR dancepad and $10000 on one of those sound voltex controllers and is getting butthurt that everyone's playing a game you can play on a $40 mouse

>playing osu with a mouse
Touch screen is the original format it copied from, touch screen should be how you play

>weeb music
h o l y c r i n g o l a

that's what I'm saying, Osu standard has the same problem. All the hard shit devolves into five minute long drumrolls while you're tracing shapes with your mouse. Yea there's depth to the kinds of shapes the mapper can make, but that's largely tangential to the music being played. I recall people doing experiments with coop maps and chords a few years ago but none of that shit influenced the mapping requirements at all.

osu for DS was made for touchscreen
osu! for PC was made for mouse
cope

there's a wide variety of music

Bitch I'm talking about presentation. I liked EBA and Ouden because of the bizarre scenarios you're put into. Same with Rhythm Heaven. It just makes me happy.

>Not playing osu! with a X220T.

>Osu standard has the same problem
No it doesn't and you have no idea what you're talking about like 90% of this thread.

osu! is made for tablet.

>literal spyware
