Honestly what the fuck, why wasn't it shown today?

I used to follow this game heavily back in like 2016 but when they pretty much stopped showing anything I kinda forgot about it. I didnt even know there was a "new" re-branded trailer until now and apparently it came out in January? Looking at it now I can see that it looks like they've been putting a lot more effort in making it extremely "non-Mother". It looks good in my eyes but the trailer literally leaves the release date out in the open again so I'm not even gonna bother getting my hopes up. Not only that but if those leaks are still true and they haven't made substantial moderation to the story it's probably just gonna be crap anways.

Morning Star, revealed in 2018. Concept is a farm game but in a dystopia future. You basically are reversing it with the tools that created it.
I was actually very excited for it, but the creator Metkis hasn't talked shit about it for now more than a year, and just jerks himself off on twitter with tech demos and american politiks.

I may be one of the only indie devs on twitter who managed to try breaking free of this sort of thing. It's hard to make games, and I berate myself for not going on with certain projects, but it's worse, and worryingly easy, to be like Metkis.
