I'll start:
>I liked the boss fight with Yhorm the Giant
Confess
When someone shows interest on a game I like, be on Zig Forums or real life, I badmouth that game going far as lying if necessary. I believe that someone who has to ask strangers for permission to play a game and allowd strangers to decide for them doesn't deserve to play the game in the first place.
Also, gatekeeping.
I never use guides for a game, ever, If it means missing out miss-able content or hitting walls. I believe that using guides ruins the surprise and you're just playing the game as someone else did instead of having your own experience.
I only like anime games if they have good gameplay. It doesn't need to be top 10 game of all time-tier but it has to be entertaining and challenging (in a good way). If it isn't it gets dropped.
WRPGs are the only genre I dislike and I'm not willing to give another chance. I don't like how the gameplay is always poor and the core of the experience is talking to NPCs and choosing text options to talk to the next NPC.
I like a good map, quest tracking system and fast travel.
I routinely get lost in vidya otherwise which is a huge turnoff, i don't find figuring out where to go fun. I don't give a shit if it is a fantasy RPG I want a giant arrow or something telling me where to go.
I brag about all of the games I've played to my friends to seem cultured. But in reality I just look up plot details online and I've only played a handful of video games.
I play FPS with a Controller.
I dislike FPS and have left Bioshock unfinished
He said confession, not something that Zig Forumsirgins are very obvious about
>I liked the boss fight with Yhorm the Giant
Is this an unpopular opinion? I usually don't like gimmick bosses, but I thought most of the ones in DaS3 were pretty fun.
Played Baldur's Gate, from the first game all the way to Throne of Bhaal...then I stopped due to burnout.
I doubt I'll ever play the series again. It's an insane time commitment that I simply don't have nowadays.
the new COD has burned my dopamine receptors and I bought the battlepass. Next season I'm uninstalling and never touching this shit again
I play like 5 hours a week tops of videogames.
I dislike Psychonauts, and I always turn anti-aliasing off.
I have no idea what you mean with that first one. Wtf is gatekeeping?
How did it burn your whatever you said?
I threw a spergfit when I heard that the National dex was cut and still bought the shit 4 months later.
>WRPGs are the only genre I dislike and I'm not willing to give another chance. I don't like how the gameplay is always poor and the core of the experience is talking to NPCs and choosing text options to talk to the next NPC.
I think you're confusing wrpgs with jrpgs.
i don't really care about challenges in games any more. i mostly play them just to fuck around
Every time I try new games just to get the same feeling I had when I was playing through games that I love and won't be able to experience it again for the first time. I get stuck at some shitty objective that won't let me progress unless I finish it and at that point I'm forcing myself to finish the God damn vidya and I see that the objective is nothing else but "clever" mechanic used to artificially extend the game I just google cheatengine tab or make one myself and skip this shit. Fuck them, I play vidya for too much and too long to fall for these "clever" and cheep mechanics.
Also because of that I recognize this shit mechanics and cliche stuff I can't enjoy any vidya and it really hurts that my fun that I had with games is dying. I don't remember when last time game suprised me in any way.
What to do
No, I'm definitively talking about WRPGs; WRPGs don't have cutscene videos because you have text boxes instead of straight cutscenes.
By the way haven't played a traditional JRPG in at least ten year.
I actually enjoyed some of the puzzle segments of starfox adventure.
I like video games.
I feel you. I don't have much patience for most video game "objectives" these days. They just feel like padded time wasters.
As a kid I only played on easy difficulty and always used cheat codes when they were available.
I find Persona 5 so goddamn fucking boring and obnoxious.
I played trough 3, liked it. Played 4, was a nice game.
But almost every character in P5 irritates me.
I dropped it when that fag that looks like villain from batman shows up, and have been told game gets better just after that point.
Idk, maybe it does, but I could not handle it anymore.
I dig all the r34 and stuff on panda tho.
I never played a Elder Scrolls game.
I'm really, really, really bad at video games.
Never played a final fantasy or even a Bethesda game.
Dragon age 2 is really not all that bad.
There is more to that but this would be too much to write. Even tho it's nice and kinda sad that both of us have to experience this feeling. I hope that you find something fun in some vidya gem. Best of luck my dude
I love Super Hydlide
i dont consider the people i have played games with online for like a decade or more to be friends.
I liked the Xbox event today
I liked Sony's E3 with FWEEEEEEE and TWANG
I like DaS 3 more than DaS and DaS2 combined
Sekiro is the Worst Fromsoft game I've played
The 3DS is a better console than the Switch
I've bought the Witcher 3 4 times
I hate the general mindset of this board but I really like Zig Forums's backlink system for organization and would switch to reddit in a heartbeat if they used a similar system instead of the clusterfuck it's using now.
>I write down stuff I would like to see be added to future games for series I enjoy & post them for the hopes of discussion with improvement in mind (DMC, BB, & TF3 for example)
>Platinum Trophies have helped me try out games I wouldn't usually play (Not buy but play PSPlus games I would normally ignore)
>I'm relatively frugal with money & find the idea of missing out on a opportunity as irritating....
>Last year during a sale I bought at the same time: the Bioshock Collection (Just to replay 2) & Shadow of the colossus... I haven't touched either... I could've gotten them for free.
I liked Wolgnir. I felt like his design was cool enough it excused the puzzle boss aspect
I was playing one of the lego star wars games and got a half chub staring at Rey.
I miss RealArcade, Gamehouse, OG Popcap (before EA,) and Wildtangent. those old storefronts made up a significant chunk of my time spent on PC games back in the day.
Peace Walker is my favorite metal gear game and I put over 100 hours into it and really enjoyed the coop and exops it had.
I don't know about favorite, but I definitely enjoy it more than 5
I despise Final Fuckery and detest the millions of Tifa posts shitting this place up every day.
