Zestiria really was a garbage Tales Of game, or at least the worst one I've ever played. Berseria was slightly better but I still didn't care for all that much. At the end of the game after like 500 years or some shit has passed we see Mikleo who has grown his hair out and looks even MORE FEMININE and meets up with Sorey who is now some wandering immortal shaman god and they have sex.

Also, the party options sucked because it felt you HAD to fuse with your partner every fight, which just isn't as fun. Mikleo is kinda cool as just a bro, plus I liked when he said

If you weren't around when Zesteria was in development, basically Rose was supposed to be an npc party member and Alisha was supposed to remain in the party.
Baba, the Tales producer as the time, started crushing hard on Rose's VA and rewrote the game completely, which is why many players notice this strange tonal shift partway through.
Among other reasons, it was pretty much why Japan HATES this game and forced Baba to step down.
