I'm playing Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War after being done with Shadow Dragon and New Mystery!
It is really hard and I miss the quality of life stuff from the later games but I really like it! The fact that the maps are far more expansive and each chapter feels a bit like a full war campaign by itself really helps sell the scope of the story.
