I played that game a bunch as a kid. I remember being really shit at it so I don't think I got very far

THPS2

PS1 games are all shallow compared to N64 games. A real case of quantity vs quality.

then how come nobody bought an N64?

Jumping flash
2xtreme
Croc
MGS
Road Rash
THPS2
Thrasher Skate And Destroy
Battle Arena Toshinden

PS1 games had the most soul.

Oddworld

>2020
>unironically using Nintendo's "quality over quantity" marketing ploy as an argument
You might also talk us about Sega's blast processors or the amazing power of cell of the PS3

Legend of the Dragoon is the most soulful 90s JRPG

amazing taste, play this

See if you can find C-12 : Final resistance. That game was so good back in the day.

ps1 has still more quality games so your argument is shit

Currently emulating Symphony of the Night...did it always look this bad, or is something wrong? I don't remember it looking so pixely

Syphon Filter is pretty great also

get a crt or a good shader.
Pixelshit is not meant to be viewed on a flatscreen.

>No Ape Escape mentioned yet

Hersey

>still burning CDs but lots of them don't work on my ps1
Fuck my life

what
said. Get a CRT scan line on it. It breaks up the pixels and makes it look less shit.
I thought the same thing when playing chrono trigger again, the pixels didn't blend at all until I but the scan lines on it.

Valkyrie Profile
Vagrant Story
Azure Dreams
Megaman Legends
Megaman Legends 2
The Missadventures of Tron Bonne
Final Fantasy Tactics
Macross VF-X2
Crash Team Racing
Crash Bash
Digimon Digital Card Battle (was it?)

Those are the ones i remember.

this game has spawned some powerful autism

it wasnt that good tbqh

one of the coolest games ever. its atmosphere is so unique

>tfw grew up with an N64 so I had the ultimate gaming with friends experiences but missed out on all those kino singleplayer games on the ps1

Whenever I went over to my friends place and looked through their ps1 games everything seemed so mysterious and alien, the only games I got a chance to play on my own were the final fantasies once I got a ps2. I got to be the hero during sleepovers hosting mario party, kart and smash sessions that would last all night. Sucks knowing I'm never going to have another sleepover with like 5 others all ready to game until we pass out.

It's a really original and amazing puzzle game. The creativity of the ps1 era was outstanding.

Soul Reaver
Duke Time to Kill
Jersey Devil
Tekken 3
Omega Boost
Wargames: Defcon 1

basic bitch taste

>Omega Boost
didnt know about this, cool

>omega boost
love that game as a kid, the opening (NA version) is pretty kino

It’s funny because all those excuses are pure distillated cope
>blast processors
They couldn’t cope with the fact that the SNES was more powerful than the Genesis
>Nintendo seal of quality or PS1 is all shovelware
They couldn’t cope with the fact that all the third-party developers gave Nintendo a middle finger
>PlayStation 3's cell processor unlimited potential
They couldn’t cope with the fact that the PS3 had a shitty goofy architecture and most multiplatforms games looked better on the Xbox360 as a result

i see. so it's how the game is supposed to look, just the screen itself makes it different

GHOST IN THE SHELL

This game fucking rocks. Third-person shooter where you play as a fuchikoma and you can ride on walls/ceilings. The levels are fun and varied, the bosses are all cool robots, and it has a BITCHIN soundtrack. Plus fully animated cutscenes from Production I.G.

Seriously, go play this game. It's short and sweet.

Sega had the better games of that gen though, especially if you include Sega CD. Except for child's platformers, Sega had a better answer to every SNES title. (Shining Force 2 > FFT, Contra Hard Corps > Contra 3, etc.)

Plus find me a SNES OST this good:
