I built a pretty good PC when I was in highschool working some bullshit job, it still holds up now 5 years later and all I've done is put a new SSD in it and that is literally it.
I don't even play vidya enough to warrant an upgrade. And the shit I do play is old, most games are garbage nowadays anyway. Probably won't upgrade until TES VI comes out.

The best high end PC available at the time was probably a Core2Quad Q6600 and 8800GTX from memory.
This system would get dabbed the fuck out of by a low end system of today like i3 9100 and GTX1050 Ti
