Mercedes is sad and the Arisen tries to cheer her up by giving her a (forgery?) Arisen's Bond. Unfortunately, this maxes out her affinity and she moves in with him. The Arisen laments that he didn't expect things to turn out like this and Selene, who is wearing what I assume is wearing the real Arisen's Bond and presumbably the Arisen's aimed love interest, is speechless at the situation.
