Which key switch is the best?
Lets settle this once and for all
whichever you prefer
Blues and browns. I have tended to lean towards browns at home and blues at work because I share an office with a couple of other PhD students and it both gives me background noise to soothe my autism and annoy the fuck out of them to the point where they have complained several times but I have a doctor's note and it's a "reasonable accommodation" so they just wear headphones now and stop yapping about faggot shit all day.
Zealios V2
now this is based
that said browns freak me out
based on description alone i thought it'd be the perfect one for me, but there's something about weirdly organic about the click, like a clicking joint
it's disgusting
blues don't have that
everything cherry is garbage
Are the keys supposed to pop off extremely easily if you apply light force to the side or did I just get a shitty mechanical keyboard? Everything else I don't have any complaints about.
I don't think it sounds like an "organic" click because, like you said, an "organic" click is the click my hip and knees make when I shift a bit too funny or move too quickly (old football injuries). I would say the tactile response is what you're not liking as much because it's similar to blues but does not make the same clicky sound so it throws you off. When my hip clicks in and out, it sounds more like a dull thump. My brown switched keyboard now doesn't sound like that. I'd say my blue switched keyboard at work sounds more like knuckles and fingers clicking. More of a pop, I guess.
shit board and/or caps
I have to use a knife or special tool to get my caps off (ducky one with red switches)
I tried my brothers keyboard that had brown switches and it just felt like he spilt soda onto the switches, whats the appeal?
He probably did spill soda in it and it's fucked up, it's grimy as shit and needs to be cleaned, or it's a chink knockoff.
it's not the sound, it's the sensation, i think the tactile response is legit different
with the blues it's sharp and mechanical
with the browns it's soft and it feels weirdly organic
Gateron clears.
Fuck out of here if you disagree.
The more sensitive a key is, the better.
Clicky, but not Cherry or off brand Cherry.
As someone who owned a brown and a blue. Browns do feel like Blues with soda spilled on it
Blacks are objectively the best switch. Reds are too light, and fuck tactile or clicky switches
Actuation is different. It's a little softer. Ignore the gamer shit and just look at the numbers. Couple that with a lack of "clicky" and what you say makes sense. I just never thought they felt "organic".
If they feel sticky at all, clean your keyboard or RMA it.
Browns or silent reds
Razer yellows are god tier.
I'm using a regular 15$ keyboard and don't even fucking care about any key switch type bullshit. It's not gonna improve your skill, and ladies will not want to suck your dick when you tell them about your keyboard with special switches.
It's not about skill, it's about ergonomics and being comfortable while typing.

This, and I prefer Cherry blues and Model M spring switches.

*click-clicks in your path*
Is it just me that uses the 6gv2? Had it since 2013 had to replace caps cause it's been in heavy use but it feels like new.
I think you meant to say soi soi soi
you homosexual cock swinging mancopter
an ergonomic keyboard will improve comfort more than 1337 clicky clicks

>NOOOOOOO NOT THE CLICKERINO CLACKERINO STOP IT ANNOYS MY WIFE'S SON NOOOOOO
do you think macros are cheating? ever since i use macros i can pull insane combo in the span of milliseconds. I often win because of it.
Went for red because I didn't want clicks and I wanted linear ones, but I should've gone for either blacks or clears. Ah well, might switch them out at some point.
>sounds of losing his job from violating the company clause of no obnoxious fat clacking faggots
>need over priced gpu
Yeah nah
You mean in fighting games? Yeah, they pretty much are.
