So Nigtendo is now starting to take down download to the PC Port

I think these retards are wasting their time, because you can already get a download of their precious IP with ~3 seconds of digging. Plus, it's the fucking internet, you're not taking down a download. You CAN make it really hard to find, but you're not taking it down.

Not to mention the fact they only officially sell M64 on their fuckup called the Wii U, not even on current gen hardware anymore. You really think people are going to buy a Wii U just to pay more for a 24 year old game that you can get a ROM of with zero digging?

Also, if that fails, just buy an N64, M64 Cart, and controller for like 50 bucks, and how much money did Nigtendo make from that? $0.00.

Honestly, fuck Nigtendo. They ruin everything when it comes to doing cool stuff with their old games. Sure, they have the LEGAL right to do this, but I don't think they have the moral right to.

I forgot this, but I know we all saw this coming. It's NINTENDO. Still, it pisses me off when it does happen, because of the potential that just gets canned by them.

>Damn why does a company protect its IP, copyrights and trademarks to prevent unfavorable legal precedent in the future?

Are we really going to have to go through this every time you faggots become slightly inconvenienced in replaying old as fuck games?

You have to be 18 or above to post on Zig Forums you dumb child.

Go eat shit.

Nintendo, Atlus and square are idiots by crushing fangaming efforts.

Sega has made his fair share of mistakes, but since them and capcom have allowed fangaming, many megaman and sonic projects have thrived, giving the compainies EVEN MORe attention.

Nintendo has no reason to cancel this, theres no righteous reason here.

>Nintendo has no reason to cancel this, theres no righteous reason here
Nigger this was a free port of one of their most best-selling well-beloved games.

>by crushing fangaming efforts
Porting Mario64 to PC is not a fangame.

>draw a Mario X Sonic fanart of a game and post it on my xXSephirothAngelXx account on DA
>these are games now is free domain because neither company DMCA my fanart to protect their IP
nice brb

Good job to everyone who's fighting the good fight and putting faggot PC pirates in their place.
Here's a quick and easy guide for those who want to help Nintendo out.
We WILL win this guys.

Ah yes, obscure video game company Nintendo and its latent IP Super Mario which hasn't seen a new game in 30 years, kept alive by fan efforts by porting the hidden gem Super Mario 64 to PC. Amazing, Nintendo will surely be saved from bankruptcy now.

Nintendo hasn't made a game worth buying since 2004

Keep telling yourself that, kid. And if it makes you feel any better, the daily threads about your precious port helped cause this.

Holy shit Nintendo fans are such hiveminded drones, so quick to defend a multi billion dollar company that doesn't care about you

Nintendo isn't making and money off 64, the refuse to give us any sort of virtual console that would let us play it, so how are we in the wrong for finding new ways to try to play it?

A Mario 64 HD remaster for Switch has been heavily rumored and probably would of been revealed by now had Corona not fucked the world

Last one for now. Why are Nintendies like this?

I would support nintendo if they did these things.
1. Where is miyamoto 2.
In the 80s miyamoto had a small group of people in the 80s creating games under him.
Now it is miyamoto as a dictator and the lowest and newest people are probably in different countries working for minimum wage.
2. Since there is no criticism on games being made there is no quality.
With the small groups of the 80s the developers can agree or disagree and make a game so fine tuned.
The quality on the gameplay on all nintendo games have plummeted.
Now it is probably a few emails or someone telling the lowest levels what to do with out any interaction from miyamoto.
3. There is passionate fans who create better quality games than nintendo makes.
With romhacks.
Or games like binding of isaac.
Obv it's a remix of legend of zelda but it has the depth of an old nintendo title.
Romhackers should have a role of a miyamoto 2 in the company.
4. Past game communities.
Nintendo should have fans that preserve past titles and let the freedom of the preservation of each game go with the community.
Whether it be art music or games it should all be free to love and support.
5. If I was CEO of nintendo I'd fire all the yes men and look at the rom hacking community and make passion projects based off of what people want the best games would be offshoots of the series or would be handled. I bet 1 million dollars these games would top mario 64 and oot in gameplay and style.
6. Online romhack competitions.
7. Netplay for past games.
8. Netflix like nintendo for all games across all systems.
9. Partnership with steam or epic to get games on computer and steam games on switch.
10. Apologies to past fans for neglecting them who created them.
11. Live streams of them playing the original super mario brothers games to see how much more effort it is to complete those games compared to modern games

>it's another ''Japanese boomer tries to fight the internet'' episode
*yawn*

>protect its IP, copyrights and trademarks to prevent unfavorable legal precedent in the future
Plz explain how the fuck a Mario 64 PC port would ruin their IP ?

That's a pretty bad example, Doom was open sourced before this guy was most likely born.

>Nigtendo is the wrong one
>When people are playing their games without paying for it
Who is the true nigger here?

so?
This is a clean-room decompilation. No Nintendo code or copyrighted material is being distributed whatsoever.

You can tell that the dude using cope and simp posts here

Holy fucking kek these people

If they made a better game then no one would need to port past titles.
So Nintendo.

Nintendos biggest competitor is their past games

I'd support them if they did

Doom went open source in 1997.

virtual console
>not on switch
don't you have a wii or wii u around?
Source? Rumors are worth jackshit

Doesn't matter, the source is out there, people are already branching shit and making improvements. Containing it is a lost cause.

lmao seeing Nintendo fall on their face time and again trying to stop emulation never fails to amuse me

Tons of people have already reported it like a month ago
