Try tongue but hole
sounds like you just suck at the game
Yeah it's me, not like the biggest defense of DS2 ever flat out calls it roll souls or anything.
But in DS2 it is actually balanced, it actually consume the stamina
Fpbp
You mean the absolute broken shit from the first game got tuned down?
No that's just a good game.
enjoy your 1 dimensional combat, I guess
I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis, havelbabby
have fun playing in easymode
It's funny that for all of it's flaws, DaS2 got so much stuff right, only for it to be discarded for 3 because SOUL MEMORY BAD B TEAM BAD
based
remember that article from a few years ago where some cvck complained about this?
They knew they couldn't top kino souls 2 so they didn't even try.
"roll souls" refers to spam rolling like DaS3 or BB
rolling still takes a fuck load of stamina in DaS2
All the souls games since demons souls were roll souls, except sekiro, which is deflect souls.
>m-muh difficulty
>who cares about build variety, playing any other way than naked with a twohanded weapon is for weenies
People like you are the reason DS3 turned out the way it did.
DaS 2 was a stepping stone of potentially gold half baked ideas that needed to be fleshed out.
But MUH BLOODBORNE A-Team didnt give a fuck and made 3 a bloodborne spinoff
I finished the game with heavy armor and tower shield just fine you retard
Weapon Arts > Powerstancing
>I slogged through a game while gimping myself with useless gear and I'm proud of it
>As if turtling around everything isn't one dimensional
I am, it looked fucking cool
Literally this. I thought they would flesh out the cool mechanics that came up with 2 and fix the deadzone problem and the awful weapon tracking but they decided to ignore everything good about 2 and decided to make Dark Souls 1 with BB combat.
Stuff like Power Stancing, Boss/Twinkling Infusions, Ascetics, Small Soapstones, Left Handed Weapons. There's no reason for shit like that to be cut.
Never mind the stuff they fixed that got changed back or made worse, like Poise and the Blue Police. It's a shame that people are so caught up in the badly executed ideas like SM, or results of radical team changes months before release that led to FLOATING VOLCANO.
You can tank tons of shit with a greatshield, minus DLC bosses.
So anything above 200 armor is useless?
why is it i loved ds1 and loved ds2 but felt like putting down the controller almost immediately after starting ds3?
I know exactly what you mean user. I don't know.
Yeah. It also sucks that it forces you... and DS3 really... to change to a do nothing but roll strategy towards the end of the games.
Casters and infinite poise and tracking on enemies isn't fun.
It brings nothing new to the table.I dropped it 12 hours in after beating that gimmick boss with the bracelets.Sad!
anyone have advice for doing a fatboy run in ds3?
was really enjoying it early on, but now in the endgame i am getting stomped by all the bosses.
i feel it would be too easy to just strip down and dodge everything
nameless king is where im stuck at currently, i can kill the drake easily, its just once the second phase never gets staggered and i get no time to regain stamina before he starts swinging again
Use one of the greathammers with perseverance
it's mostly done to punish people not wearing anything
Compared to 3, it's nothing.
It's not. DS3 is just DS2 with a faster tempo.
Dont give up, skeleton!
The fact that ONLY DaS2 has iframes on backdash is the biggest waste of potential in the series. Having invincible backsteps made a weapons running attack matter, having the weapons true potential hidden in a typically unused move makes for a cool build, high ADP lance build is one of my favorite playthroughs.
DS1 has a ton of iframes on the DWGR backstep
Just level ADP
i don't remember needing doing to roll away from a boss 6 times like in das3 to avoid an attack
That's the other thing, I cant believe dwgr never came back in any form in another game. It should've been in 3 and given you the Bloodborne step animation rather than having it tied to certain daggers
You've played the better Souls games already. DS3 is just a boring rehash. DS2 was already pushing it, but DS3 just throws everything good out in favor of BB garbage, without being good at anything.
I rather have a shit game that does some things great(DS2), atleast it's memorable.
Compared to a mediocre game that does nothing good or bad(DS3), and is completely unmemorable.
