The one good thing about this quarantine is that all the arcade bros are making threads online because they can't go to arcades. Don't think we've had threads this often before and its great.
My local arcade is trying to open back up by the end of the month because they already had new games shipping in and got fucked over by the virus. Want to support them but not sure how much of a risk I'm willing to take yet.
Rhythm games can be a pain to troubleshoot so I usually play simulators.

I was just playing some Donpachi a few days ago. Good shit. Genuinely liked it more than the other 2 DoDonpachi sequels I played. I also tried it Guwange, which was quite bad, but also fun and unique. Glad to have spent $5 digital, not-real currency to complete it.

Donpachi is good, the visuals are kind of ugly but it's a good game and a worthwhile entry to the series. I like Guwange to an extent but having to control the special attack with your character's movement is an annoyance. Futari 1.5 is still the best CAVE game to me.

futari 1.5 is fucking great. the pc port is pretty based too, feels great with a japanese virtua stick and a tate'd crt monitor
