Trials of Mana

Seriously, how did you guys take such closeup screen captures/videos in the game?

I'm playing the Switch version on my TV, I can never get the camera to zoom in this much. I've tried to rotate the camera while running into walls/corners, even with camera zoomed in full in options, but I can never replicate what's going on in this video.

What am I doing wrong?

Camera mod for pc
Also...
>having a switch
Lmao

Someone probably modded the PC version to unlock the camera.

anybody has a link for the Angela lewd mods, where you can take off her cape?

Remember seeing that there's a zoom feature on the Switch. Double tapping the home button or something like that. Have to enable it probably

As far as I know you can only change the camera zoom in the options, but it's nowhere as close as what the mod allows you to do.

>reminder that Reisz good luck 1/2 and bad luck 1/2 stack (though they roll separately) and roll for each target. This is ok for starlancer and buffs, but when you take into account multi target bosses and fenrir knight (much like how angela's aoe shits on multi target bosses) you are almost guaranteed the bad luck rolls and all you need is one success for the enhanced debuff to apply to the entire boss.

>(much like how angela's aoe shits on multi target bosses)
Yesterday I finished the main game for the first time, and I don't think the Dragondude lasted even 1 minute on hard against Lucent Beam+ spamming, just mashing the hotkey with Angela. That thing and buff stacking is so unbalanced, but to be fair I think it was that way if not worse in the original game too, I remember buffing my team with Riesz and debuffing bosses with Hawkeye to make every fight trivial, and I ended up playing with a similar composition this time around.

What are some other things like this?

I actually just tried the demo and chose Kevin(lol what a name), thief, and Loli. Is that a good team? What should I be striving for when it comes to team composition and classes? Is there a guide?

Just pick whoever you like, the game is easy enough even in hard, so you may want to start in that difficulty, also not having a healer is perfectly viable by the way, healing items are good, common and cheap.
There are 3 possible final bosses in the game depending who you pick as your protagonist, and if you happen to have 2 characters that share one I think it's better if you put them in your first and second slot for narrative purposes, so in your case it would be Kevin and Charlotte. Hawkeye shares final boss with Riesz.

Is the third character you pick really that irrelevant in terms of dialogue or is it's just a meme?

You can do whatever set up you want and still win. If you want to tear shit up with those three consider DD Kevin, LD Charlotte, and DL Hawk.

Mostly irrelevant, but they still get some story bits including their post game stuff, and whenever you interact with an important character from their story, which does happen. Mind you, SE added new dialogue for the all girl and all guy parties too.

>Angela slaps you if you wake her up in Jadd
Cute and funny

>Is the third character you pick really that irrelevant in terms of dialogue or is it's just a meme?
I picked Angela, Riesz and Hawkeye in that order and I didn't notice any difference in amount of dialog, I specifically remember a couple of cutscenes where only Hawkeye commented but not Riesz (outside of his story arc).

Do you ever get a chance to reallocate points at all? I think I wasted a few in the demo, and even if it’s insignificant it’s fucking with my autism lol

There's a fortune teller at the night market that will let you respec your points for a fee.
Highly worth.

Why does Angela speak like a 15 year old white girl from the suburbs?

>being a console warrior
>in a ficking Trials thread of all places
embarrassing

Sick. This is my first Mana game, but I’m excited to go back after I do some story on this one.

nice!
nothing better than some cute white cotton panties.

you mean a valley girl?
because she's a royal brat so it kinda makes sense.

Alright bros I'm playing the girl that talks funny. Playing the demo. What should I focus on. Int?

Points can be respecced for a fee. If you collect enough of the collectible cactii the fee fets lowered too. Class resetting is more limited though. You need a consumable item, and there's 6 available per playthrough, one in the final dungeon and the other 5 in the post game dungeon. So, make sure to pick the class you really want.

Like with all characters, there's going to be some variation depending on the classes you pick, but Charlotte gets her spells from spirit, so that's always worth dumping into.

is the ps4 version censored?

It depends on the character but you can almost never go wrong with Str/Int/Luck/Spr in some combination depending on the character.

not really. physics are buggy at 60fps due to japan programming but everything else seems the same. if you can, get it on pc for mods

Charlotte go all spirit and any extra points into either stamina or strength, whichever you’d like. Pump spirit though.

The game doesn't even run at 60fps on consoles though

It does on every console except the Shitch, by which its around 20 fps.

>investing Riesz
How exactly? She's the only character in this game who doesn't have an obvious stat to prioritize.

Fuck Bros does this mean there's only 3 characters per playthrough? I never see the other party members?

In Switch it targets 30fps, I'm not sure if any game targets lower than that these days.

Nice try, never had any lag on switch. Few texture popins while playing undocked but it’s comfy as hell after playing all of the Collection in bed.

>Fuck Bros does this mean there's only 3 characters per playthrough? I never see the other party members?
You see them, they're around the world doing their own stuff and you help them in small parts of their arcs.

Yes, the three characters you choose at the start are yours for the rest of the game.
This remake has a NG+ and you can play through the other characters stories that way instead of starting fresh if you’d like.
