Rabbit meat honestly sucks.
Rabbits don't have a lot of meat, it's tough and gamey and honestly only tastes good when heavy marinaded or stewed.
Rabbit was only really eaten because it was frequently available and cheat, and you were killing them anyway for the more valuable pelt or because they were pests.
