Game of the Year 2019. And I'm not even a Kojima fan.
Dogshit, too pretentious for a walking simulator.
Here is a good walking simulator without shitty hollywood actors: store.steampowered.com
It's too easy
I wouldnt say the dust has settled because it didnt release on PC yet. Great game though.
Come up with your own opinion.
I will let you know when it hits PC.
i have not played due to not being a console peasant, but i already know in my heart that its the best strand-type game that has ever been conceived
Have PC fags always been this annoying?
yeah, i also hate people who are better than me
Pretty good.
Already forgotten.
Genuinely great and I dont even like Kojimas other work. Thought it'd be shit but its one of my favorite games in years.
Bad movie.
But it's the worst strand-type game ever conceived.
I liked it, but once I was done, I was done. Got very boring once the main game was over.
Also the story could have been paced a hell of a lot better.
It was mystery, mystery, mystery, info dump.
Shit/10
I liked it better than mgsv
I liked it better when I got up to heartman and stopped caring about getting 5 stars at all the outposts.
Currently have Sekiro, Jedi Fallen Order, Monster Hunter World and Red Dead 2 on my backlog.
Is this worth playing before any of those?
so unique it won't reach a consensus, ever
>t. currently replaying it after beating it at launch
the duality of Zig Forums
Probably one of the most unique gaming experiences one can have, and it absolutely filtered brainlets. Still only an 8/10 though.
Incredible game which had certain flaws but I believe will be completely fixed if Kojima tries to make a game like this again.
Despite its incredible size, the lore of the game left me feeling that the map was too small, and putting a few extra areas in and generally fewer missions to perform for the same preppers over and over would go a long way. Also, some actual difficulty with any of the bosses, and some lasting impact from a voidout (ended up having to let one happen to me, just out of curiosity)
Dios mio...
Worth a try but its hard to tell if you are going to like it or not. I love it personally but like it was said many times its really not for everyone. Slow paced, atmospheric and certainly unique.
Depends what you feel like playing. If you want action play one of those, if you want to do some hiking and shit in a weird sci-fi world then try this.
Explain the bit about the lore, do you mean that the map is supposed to represent the whole of America?
If so, I agree.
All I did was imply I don’t own it yet, lol. Get help.
no consensus until pirates get their hands on the PC release
I am a long term fan of Metal Gear, does that help at all?
I loved it but can understand why it wasn’t for everyone and yes it is Kojimas fault
He should have made the beginning of the game more engaging to showcase the full gameplay capabilities that appear later. For example, that huge BT that destroys edge knot city could have been a playable part. Also the BT mini bosses should have been more agressive so that it presents a challenge, rather than just jogging away from them in 20 seconds. Also that Japanese girl voice actor had absolutely no business doing that dialogue like holy shit. She obviously had no idea what she was saying. Why didn’t anyone pointing out to Kojima that her performance was terrible? Why? Because of stupid Japanese work culture and “wow I’m working for Kojima”
These are small things that could have been easily tweaked. Why weren’t they? Probably because everyone was afraid to tell Kojima
Yeah, its pretty much MGS6 but you hike instead of sneaking
Gameplay is very similar to MGSV but combat isn't the focus, instead it's pathfinding and making deliveries, with slight construction elements. Stealth is still a big factor with the BT encounters.
