Maybe a better question:
What games have the NPC's react to the fact that you seemingly can't be killed and just keep coming back?

PS4 games

What a piec of shit manga that was.

Now i know what people felt when Alien 3 came out, fucking entire cast dies off screen in one chapter, manga eeps on going for a bit more before its cancelled and its never mention again, fucking amazing.

Judah could have killed him literally any time.

The side characters dying happened like 3-4 volumes before the ending that's not cancelled by a long shot.

Ye, and the last volumes are a fucking complete tonal and story mess until that retarded 1 chapter long ending.

You dont spend 2/3 of the manga crating a cast of characters only to dump them out of the blue and it having 0 impact on anything, they dont get a single fucking panel acknowledge they existed, they just get written out and fuck them.

I feel like I should know one that does this but I'm drawing a blank

no, that one is from firepunch. Astronaut is from chainsaw man.

but both manga are from the same author.

its a manga of striking images and very bad and boring writing

Isn't that just the payoff to the game in the final boss(es)?
I'm talking about something like an Infamous/FPS where as the game goes on the random mooks start getting vocally more and more terrified of you, since you either keep coming back from the dead or canonically are going through every level/mission without taking any damage and racking up a kill count in absurd numbers.

Don't get me wrong, Undertale is pretty good about using it as a payoff in the neutral route, and I haven't done the genocide route but the boss seems to do be a pretty good payoff to the idea as well.

The only example I can think of myself is (kinda) Iji but that's less "characters acknowledging you won't die" and more "characters acknowledging your abilities".
If you do a "kill everything" route, the logbooks you find talk about you like some kind of terrifying monster who can't be stopped.
If you go for the (harder) no-kill route, the logbooks start talking about being terrified at the absurdity of you managing to get past all their troops, and also being terrified about what you plan to do with all the ammo you have collected. Suggesting you might turn into a black hole if you keep it up.

Neverdead

undertale is more about the egotism of playing a video game, and how easily a player can disregard himself as responsible for his morals, or for having a moral code. it examines ludology and ideology fundamentally.

in infamous, its simply a nice writing trick.

I heard that game was kinda jank?
