despite Zig Forums saying it's a moviegame it will have fantastic gameplay. The story will be hit and miss for everyone.

The first one had decent gameplay at best, idk how much they can improve on it.

When you make an interactive movie and the plot is shit, why play the game?

On that note, barely any writers like David Cage or Neil Druckmann ever achieve a decent story despite sacrificing all gameplay for it, making the endeavour pointless.
Literally you have games like MGS2 and Nier Automata that can have both good gameplay and an engaging story, whilst Western devs fail to acheive either. It's embarassing, frankly.

it's an above average third person shooter with survival horror elements. just because it's linear doesn't mean its bad.

it's bad because it's boring and monotonous making the game a chore to get through, if it's a 3rd person shooter survival horror you are looking for, The Evil Within pull it much better, if it's a cinematic adventure you want, Uncharted is more fun
and lets not forget how the reveal trailer for the first game blatantly lied about enemies being intelligent enough hide and to set up ambushes, avoid you when you had guns, or even recognize when you ran out of bullets, it was that kind of AI that initially sold me into this otherwise dull generic cookie cutter game but even in the hardest difficulty that prodigious AI was nowhere to be found
but i could forgive the game for such flaws if only it wasn't so over hyped by consoomer sheeple brainwashed by Basedny's marketing department
it's a meh game at worst, but everything around it, from it's pretentiousness to the devs arrogance to the blind fanboyism and undeserved praise just turns me away
