>Best netcode of any current fighter
What went wrong?
Best netcode of any current fighter
>fucking SHAO KAHN IS playable
>he's a jobber in the story mode and he's the worst character in the game for PVP
the devs must be doing this intentionally
Kotal Kahn was a jobber in his debut trailer
>make the KOTAL KAHN trailer
>put in Jacqui which hadn't been revealed yet for MK11
>Jacqui fucking trashes Kotal
They knew nobody gave 2 fucks about Jacqui. The MKX newcomers people loved were Kotal and Erron.
>What went wrong?
its the worst game, we just need to start bashing the japs into giving us netcode and crossplay as much as possible. now is a good time to push it with the quarantining
>we just need to start bashing the japs into giving us netcode and crossplay as much as possible.
crossplay? japs? MK11 is not made by the japanese
also, the best netcode is GGPO and it's already free to use for everyone
If the EVO online thing doesn't convince them, nothing will.
Good netcode equating to a huge playerbase is a meme. That's why. You can't listen to these fgc fanboys who live in a deluded little bubble. These faggots actually think casuals don't like fighters anymore because of difficulty, when the older games were harder and more popular.
>"casuals can't handle losing 1v1, it hurts their egos!"
>"casuals don't like fighters because they're too difficult!"
They are jerking themselves off, by trying to say only true zen, egoless minds with IQs high enough to handle complexity like fighting games, when this is the same scene rife with ragequitting, teabagging, breaking controllers, and supporting dumbed down games (SFV).
MK11 is unpopular because they dumbed it down and the casuals have seen all the fatalies and cutscenes.
>MK11 is not made by the japanese
and? op asked what went wrong that its the only game with good netcode.
>also, the best netcode is GGPO and it's already free to use for everyone
and? we need to get the japs to use it, as i said
That was both tragic and hilarious.
I'm upset about the whole $40 expansion thingy. I'm a big fan of the series but I can't justify that any more, it's gone too far. People need to START VOTING WITH THEIR WALLETS.
>MK11 is unpopular
it sold over 5 million units in less than 2 months
when people say they want good netcode in fighting games they mean they want a tekken and a street fighter with good netcode
>mechanically worst fighting game
>best guest characters
>best netcode
It's all so tiresome
the only funny thing is the MK11 people in charge and their lack of self-awareness
>shitting on both Kahns in multiple ways
>one of Shao's lines is MAGA, even if by mistake this ended up being awesome
>make a stromk womyn the new Kahn, because it was her turn
>Sheeva looks like a fat ugly mexican without mustache
>Jax's ending is literally WE WUZ
>all women are flat boards, boring bodies complimented by their tame dresses, zero hot females
>they issue a statement on how it was not ok to do this sweaty and nobody fights semi-naked
>all the men in the game are hot beefcakes barely wearing anything (please don't change this if you're reading this, MK11 higher ups, this is a good thing)
I have no idea how Sindel looks this good. The base game team must be on vacation or something. I hope they never come back.
>I have no idea how Sindel looks this good.
The whole Aftermath pack seems to be an apology from the crew
And The Last Jedi made 620 million dollars. Almost no one likes it. MK11 sold off the back of MKX and disappointed all the NRS fanboys, except the shilliest of the shills. Don't make me post proof.
>Don't make me post proof
because you don't have any?
Sindel isn't really "Aftermath content", but I think I get what you mean. That said, Sheeva still looks terrible, so I'm not sure if they're really going for that.
This. lmao. When they say they'll only play [none sf or tekken game] if the netcode is good, It's a fucking meme. And the few scrubs complaining about fighting game difficulty are only complaining about moves they can't do in SF or Tekken as well. They moment you suggest an easier game, they don't want it and ignore the game.
They also added back in the classic costumes for the females
Politics.
Not that guy, but EVO wasn't going to run MK11. Maybe he's talking about the competitive scene, not sales. And sales are also not a good indicator for this, the vast majority of sales are based on brand recognition alone, and over 90% of the people who bought the game can't even do a 1-2-amplify special - 1 2 finisher kombo, let alone play competitively and play the game after finishing the story mode or something.
SHE HAS NO ASS
SHE HAS NO TITS
THIS KOMBATANT
HAS NO BOINGY BITS
Because the fact you're pretending MK11 isn't a disappoint with even the biggest NRS fanboys exposes you it and of itself. It's like asking someone for proof water quenches thirst. Why draw diagrams for a retard?
TestYourMight - the biggest NRSboy site is right there for you to go and view. Been there for years, yet, for some strange, inexplicable reason, you know a lot about MK11, but have never been there. How come you don't know? Or do you know, and are trying to defend your POS game?
>TestYourMight - the biggest NRSboy site
pretty sure that's /vg/
hahahahahaha.
I know exactly how she looks and that is "like shit". Face scanning was a mistake.
honestly it's hard to find the will to learn a game that will most likely die out quickly and has no guaranteed sequels, while you can be almost certain tekken and sf will live on
FG and RTS are dying because they involve doing the same, repetitive autismo shit by yourself for hours. And plenty of people would rather go play League or something while chatting with their friends.
I thought it was obvious? Western devs typically care more about netcode than the eastern ones because they live on a vast landmass that, for a lack of a better term, is the center of the world. Japan is a tiny isolationist island where everybody just goes to the arcade to play fighting games locally anyway. Hopefully this pandemic will teach EVERYBODY the importance of good online play and that not everybody has the option of local play all of the time.
just because a bunch of anime games die within a month from launch doesn't mean fighting games are dying, those games were never alive to begin with
I really don't understand why japanese devs outright refuse to add crossplay at the very least. It takes more work to keep platforms separate than to let them play together, you based on every dev interview you basically just need to push a button to enable cross platform play.
They even ACCIDENTALLY had crossplay with Jedi Academy on PC/Switch because they simply didn't try to keep the platforms separate enough.
i think its because each platform lets you use servers for free but if you have to run your own server it costs money? i dont know, but all the indy devs seem to add crossplay just fine so theres literally no excuse. it makes no sense.
fighting games are p2p and use servers only for matchmaking
so? that just makes it worse that they dont use crossplay. but the point still stands that it costs money to run your own cross platform server than it does to use the platforms provided ones. but indy devs do it, so why cant they? this doesnt change the question.
>dude, what if we wanted more realistic female fighters but everyone is wearing stiletto heels and the men are torn straight from a barafag porn site
>dude what if EVERYTHING is DLC, and you even need DLC to uninstall the game?
>dude, what if gacha shit in MK?
>dude, what if Frost had the body of a sex cyborg but the face of a land whale tumblrina?
>dude, what if character customization sucked ass?
>dude what if 98% of the outfits were just color swaps?
>dude, what if me made the player grind for all of these color swaps? lol
>dude what if we hired an actual tranny QA to dictate character design?
>dude, what if Make Outworld Great Again?
>dude, what if the entire experience costs over 100 dollars?
>dude if we made players pay 40 dollary doos to get the ending?
>dude, GUEST CHARACTERS, SO WACKY AND RANDUMB
>dude, GUEST CHARACTERS, SO WACKY AND RANDUMB
fuck off, Spawn was a great pick
