My mom was very strict on buying games and I just randomly asked her one day after church if she could by me a gba and she said "ok" and we went to toys r us and got one. I remember the day I got it and my mom getting me Super Mario Advance. Shit was unreal as I had grown up with stuff like Game Boy. Having something that was essentially a Super Nintendo in the palm of my hand was wild. Those of you who were like four or five probably don't understand because you've always been exposed to this kind of technology. But it was groundbreaking for those of us who were dreaming of the day we be able to play stuff like Super Mario World in the palm of your hand
